Hello All,
I am a resident of Sewell NJ. Anyone who lives around here knows that there is an abundance of pizzerias within the area. I have picked up and ordered from Papa Luigi's about once every two months in the past. Today I placed an order for delivery. During the order I had a feeling that the person taking the order was not listening to what I was ordering and that it may be wrong but as we had no issues in the past I was confident that it would be correct.
So the order arrived wrong, which was honestly no big deal. I called the restaurant to advise that an error had occurred. I was eventually put on the phone with a manager who presented no professional experience with any type of customer relation or ethics. I advised the manager that the order was wrong and was told that I could receive the correct order via the next delivery, if I was able to provide the restaurant with the uneaten food. Understandable request however I ordered a veggie quesadilla and received a chicken cheese steak with broccoli and tomato. When I called to advise that the order was wrong, the representative said that the ticket order was for a fajita….however there are no fajitas on their menu!? So I ended up with a chicken cheese steak with broccoli and tomato instead.
I advised the representative that I needed to feed my child and could not wait another 45min for the order to be corrected and simply requested that I be credited for the quesadilla in a future order. I was rudely advised that this was not company policy and that no compensation would be made. I fed my three year old the broccoli, tomatoes out of the sandwich. I then drove to the restaurant and returned the uneaten portion of the sandwich. I was greeted again with unprofessionalism. I did not request again that any compensation be given and simply gave the uneaten portion of the sandwich to the manager. The manger did not attempt to resolve the situation and rudely accepted the sandwich and expressed nothing but disregard to me as a patron who would not return.
My issue with Papa Luigi's and the management had nothing to do with the wrong order nor the fact that my child was affected. However, it is with the lack of professionalism that the management personnel displayed.
You are nothing with out a customer base and this situation was easy to resolve. I only asked for credit on a future purchase, nothing more. I will not visit this establishment again and suggest that the business discuss morals, ethics, and customer service with their employees especially management. Yes I get it they are only a pizza place and they are not big enough to care about a customer who spends only $35 every two months, but still are a business who charges money for a service they can...
Read morePitman’s Papa Luigi is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Gloucester or Camden County—no contest. Whether you’re grabbing a plain pie or one of their specialty slices, everything comes out hot, fresh, and absolutely packed with flavor. The sauce and cheese on the plain pies are perfectly balanced—savory, a little tangy, and melty in all the right ways. You can tell they’ve got the recipe just right. And the toppings on their specialty slices? Let’s just say they don’t hold back. The buffalo chicken, sweet chili, and BBQ slices come stacked with juicy, well-seasoned chicken that hits with flavor from the first bite to the last.
The portions are generous, prices are totally reasonable, and there’s always something new and tempting in the display case. You walk in and the aroma alone makes you hungry—even if you weren’t before. It’s one of those places where the food actually lives up to the smell.
The staff is consistently friendly, service is quick, and the place is clean and comfortable—nothing fancy, just welcoming and reliable. Whether I’m grabbing a few slices for lunch, picking up dinner for the family, or swinging by after work, it’s always a smooth experience.
And yeah, I’ve definitely eaten it cold straight from the fridge at midnight—zero regrets. The crust holds up, the flavor still delivers, and I swear those last slices somehow disappear faster than the rest.
Located right at Holly Ave & Woodbury-Glassboro Rd., Papa Luigi’s is easy to get to and even easier to come back to. If you’re craving real-deal pizza that hits every time, this is the spot....

I tasted it in case it was just the smell, tasted horrible. This was a take out order. I called and informed the manager who asked that I return the items. She also asked how much of the stromboli we ate, in which I replied I only took one bite (spit out) but that I already had cut and served two slices; which I placed back in the box to show only a bite was missing. When I arrived, the manager already seemed bother with an angry look. When I approached the counter, she opened the stromboli box, picked up a slice, smelled it and said it smells fine. She then said she cooked the wings and they are crispy, without opening the box of wings. I replied they are not crispy at all, they are soggy. I replied I even made sure to order them as extra crispy. She disagreed and only refunded the stromboli. I told her to keep the wings because it's not about the money, the fact is the wings are soggy. She had the nerve to ask if I'm sure because they are going to trash the wings. Keep the wings lady, I hope you feel bad because I had no reason to lie about soggy wings. I traveled 30 minutes. You let your ego get in between you and a customer. Paid $68.19, only refunded $21.39 (stromboli). Scroll down and read the other 1 star review... it seems this manager's mannerism wasn't just with me... I'll pray for you lady... your behavior needs to change. Don't take customer concerns personally. Grow from them... do better for the sake of your...
