I visited Bitty and Beau's coffee after hearing about this new location and reading more about the company's mission. It's a little further out of the way if you're working/headed downtown, but I had a little extra time today to drive down the Strip. Fortunately, because it was early in the morning, I had no trouble finding parking.
When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by how large and open the space is. There's a lot of room for a queue to form as well as plenty of seating, and the open air windows make it an ideal place to enjoy a coffee and maybe read or get some work done.
The menu is very clear and typical of any other coffee shop, and the prices are comparable as well for the area. The workers I interacted with were still in training, but were very attentive and patient. I enjoy their system of labeling drinks; they use playing cards instead of worrying about spelling (or misspelling) folks' names.
The service was very prompt and professional, and I got my cold brew within a minute. It was much better than chain coffee, and on par with some of the more established coffee spots in the area. Overall, I was very pleased with my first experience and hope to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe people here are absolutely amazing, this was my first time trying Bitty and Beau's coffee and I'm very happy it got recommended. It's very disability friendly and easy to get in, around, and out. They have plenty of options for people to get and are very, very reasonably priced. (Less then Starbucks would be, at least from what I got) I ordered the ice coffee with spiced brown sugar syrup, I ended up adding some more sugar and half and half into it as I forgot to ask; however, it was out and available for anyone who needed it which was very nice. I didn't have to bother the workers because I forgot to ask. They all seem very friendly and helpful. They also have this amazing and smart calling order idea where they use playing cards to call your order, i.e instead of a number you may get the two(2) of hearts or the queen of spades and when they call that card,it's your order. I had never seen something like it before and it definitely scores creativity points. I thought it was super cool and goofy(in a very good way) and it sort of gives game vibes which is really fun. Absolutely recommend and I will absolutely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBitty & Beau is a newly opened coffee shop on an honorable mission to give employment opportunities to those on a neurodivergent scale. Bitty & Beau also strives to change the way we see neurodivergent individuals especially in the workplace. When a visited on a bustling Sunday the line was long. I feel it was a great opportunity for self-reflection for those who don't identify with neurodiversity. Sometimes we are so accustomed to a fast paced atmosphere that we can't allow ourselves to slow down and truly see the person who is working to give us the product we are consuming. We certainly, often overlook the challenges that some face. And we definitely take things for granted when we don't face those same challenges. But that's enough time up on my soapbox. On to what you're really reading this for. How was the coffee? I ordered an iced lavender honey latte. It was good but I couldn't taste the coffee enough. The location is great and the space is vast and open. I...
