If you love coffee--this is the place to go in the Strip District! You will be greeted by all the lovely smells of the extensive variety of coffees they have from all over the world. You can purchase these lovely fresh beans--just help yourself to a bag and scoop the beans out of the barrel. There are also 3 coffee grinders, if you just want to grind the beans there. The selection again, is incredible...lots of coffees from various parts of South Africa, Latin and South America; flavored coffees as well. Each barrel of coffee is clearly labeled and has detailed descriptions of the coffee--whether it's light roast, medium or dark--plus what flavors to expect. They also have a great assortment of the Torani flavored syrups. Price wise, expect to pay at least $10/lb for coffee; I think $27 was their most expensive price/lb. If you drink decaf, there is a great variety of these as well. Definitely indulge in a fresh cup of coffee/latte/cappuccino...

Definitely give this place a visit if you want good coffee. Not an actual cafe, so there are no places to sit. Keep that in mind while you’re thinking of...

Their huge selection of coffee beans and varieties of teas were a little daunting to a first time visitor like myself, but the staff was very helpful and walked me through their recommendations while also taking my own tastes into account.
I left with a bag of a Mexican roast beans which I can confirm makes a delicious cup of coffee, as I'm sipping my second cup of it this morning as I write this. I also grabbed a cup of their Heart of Darkness nitro cold brew, which I also cannot recommend enough.
Overall my experience at Allegheny Coffee and Tea Exchange was overwhelmingly positive, and I'll definitely be returning when I run through this...
