I always loved this bar. Went to Duquesne in the early 90's. I lived exactly across the street on 8th street for a year. This was before cell phones. We took our cordless house phone there, kept it on the bar, perfect reception. Jim and Rachel were always the bartenders for many years. They were awesome. Loved that we always got 23oz drafts for a buck fifty. 25 cent per game of pool, free darts. But that was early 90's. Many many great memories there. I actually watched the OJ Simpson Ford Bronco chase live on tv there. Everyone chanting GO OJ, GO OJ! Crazy. This is without a doubt my favorite bar in Pittsburgh. Plenty of regulars, including myself. If you come down & check it out I'll buy you a shot! No crazy drama here. Just a good local dive with plenty of character. See...
