Great service, reasonable prices. Great ambiance. We had the “TRYP Yinzer” which had Pierogies, Strip District Kielbasa, scrambled eggs, Vermont cheddar, bacon and sourdough toast. Enjoyed everything but the kielbasa (I’m not a fan of sausages and should have asked for all bacon). The “Wild Mushroom Omelet” was outstanding, with Oyster, Shitake and Crimini mushrooms, whipped goat cheese and chives. Served with potatoes and onions.

Located in the downstairs of the newer Tryp hotel in Lawrenceville, the Brick House is a comfortable venue with interesting and delicious food, and a well stocked and well-tended bar. We showed up early enough so that the place was practically empty, but really enjoyed our dinner. The pickle board was an interesting choice, and the flatbreads were almost crunchy, but with novel ingredients and really tasty.

I wanted to try this restaurant because I had spent a summer living in Russia during college and had never been able to find khachapuri on the menu at any other restaurants in the states. I was not disappointed!! All of the food was incredibly delicious and made me so nostalgic. And the Georgian wines too!! Amazing. I'm telling everyone I know about this place.

Looking for a cultural experience? A meal at the Brick Shop is a lesson in Eastern European culture & food.

The servers are very knowledgeable about the unique food and help educate you on the dishes. Our server was even from the Eastern Europe area!

When you first read it the menu may feel a but daunting, filled with unfamiliar things, your server will guide you through. There's a lot of deliciousness to choose from.

we learned that Georgia is the birth place of wine & the Georgian's signature wine is a unique amber color.

We had the khachapuri which was full of rich cheesy goodness. The bread was delicious and the whole concept of mixing in the yolk was just fun.

We loved the chicken soup the flavor in the broth was very earthy and wholesome. The meat inside the dumpling was so flavorful! Definitely a crave-able, feel-good dish.

We also really enjoyed the Romanian steak dish and the pelmeni dumplings, golden beets and the collard greens! Definitely well made, beautiful plates of food.

The Russian honey cake was a nice and sweet dessert, that wasn't too heavy. The chocolate rye pie was interesting. We didn't like the marshmallow topping. It was gummy and thick. Would had been nicer served warm with the marshmallow toasted and melted. We broiled our leftovers and the tart was much more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance sitting by the large fireplace. The tables and seating are beautifully designed and high quality, adding to the overall ascetic. Loved the moody blue walls and gold touches throughout the space.

I cannot wait to return to the Brick Shop disclaimer my meal was gifted by the brick shop,...

I recently dined at the historic restaurant, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, with a rustic vibe that truly made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The history of the restaurant was also a highlight for me, as a brick mason, I was particularly impressed with the building's structure and the way it was beautifully preserved.

But what really stood out for me was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Cody. Not only was he incredibly friendly and attentive, but he also took the time to explain the history of the restaurant to us in great detail, which made the experience all the more special.

The quality of food was also outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced and expertly crafted, making for a truly memorable meal. And to top it off, the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food and service.

In short, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere, history, service, quality of food, and price all deserve a five-star rating. And a special shout-out to Cody, who made the evening even more enjoyable with his fantastic service. Keep up the great...

My friends and I decided to check this place out since they were having trivia night. Unfortunately, there really isn't anything positive to say about the experience, except for the trivia itself which was provided by Buzzworthy Trivia (they're always great). I order a dish of chicken and dumplings, but the dumplings were some of the driest I've ever experienced in my life. This wouldn't have been as big of an issue, but the meal was over $20 and mostly consisted of the dumplings, rice, and cauliflower with only two small pieces of chicken. On top of that, when the waitress brought us our bill she alerted us that their card system was down so we would have to use the ATM in the hotel lobby to get cash out. Which should have definitely been mentioned at the beginning of our meal and not at the end as you are handing us our checks.

I do not think I will be returning to this establishment...
