My partner and I recently moved to Pittsburgh coming from a tiny one bedroom apartment in NYC to a much bigger 3 bedroom condo. We didn't have much furniture, and sold much of what we had. We are in our 30s now and wanted to invest in some "real" grown-up furniture (No more Ikea particle board). However we are on somewhat of a budget. We checked out many used furniture stores as well as high end (overpriced) furniture places. We couldn't find what we were really looking for until we checked out Pittsburgh Furniture Company. Immediately upon entering, we knew had found exactly what we were looking for! And the prices are so reasonable! We have since gone back many times and never left empty handed. Amazing gem in central Lawrenceville that you need to make time to visit next time you are in the area. I originally thought it was a high-end designer store (way out of my budget) from window browsing and missed out on a lot of time I could have spent browsing great furniture at amazing prices!

They consistently bring in and restore an amazing selection that is constantly changing, making it a new experience to visit every couple weeks. They have an especially fine selection of mid-century modern items that come through making me pine for a time before the internet.

Delivery service is a great deal, and they take the time to set up the furniture and ensure that the customer is satisfied.
