The menu is useless because it doesn’t tell you ingredients so you're left to use google review pics to try and decipher options. I ordered shrimp and grits, which based on everything seemed to be plain grits with shrimp. They also had a loaded option which looked to have onions and peppers. I don’t like all the added stuff so I got the regular. When my husband brought it home it was not plain and had everything in it. I picked it all out and ate it. I blame myself bc we couldve called and asked but the menu should have descriptions. I also ordered a side of crispy bacon that was crispy (thank you) and 2 sides of hash browns that DID have a description and said “shredded potatoes with seasoning” and were $4 each. What they actually were was shredded hash brown patties soaked in grease…each for $4?! That price was already too much but for 1 patty? Wow. My husband got an omelette without onions and it wasn’t even an omelette, it was just rolled up? And lastly, my scrambled eggs were also dripping in grease/butter. Not at all worth $50.

We found this place on google as I was looking for a spot to get some breakfast before work. This location came up and I read the reviews and they stated the food was good and it was the only place open, so I decided to try. We walked in and it was a cute little spot with no customers at that time. We were surprised to see it was black owned. The man was really nice and sweet. We ordered a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast and French toast. Ok so after getting the food we slit up some stuff and honestly at first glance food looks sooooo good. I was completely grossed out. The toast had mold on it before i realized I bit into the toast that was not edible. Second the pork bacon tasted like something I have never ate before and the eggs were really well done and the potatoes were salty and not cooked fully. I was so disappointed I have to throw it away.

My family and I celebrated a birthday brunch here. The owner was very accommodating in allowing our large party to dine there. He allowed us to rearrange the tables so we can fit our party of 15 in comfortably. The gesture made for a great time. As large as the party was he got all that food cooked and served in good time. Each meal he made was delicious. The pancakes were soft, fluffy and delicious! The omelettes were very tasty along with the home fries. My favorite was the shrimp, grits, eggs and toast! It’s a must have. My son was glad to be able to get a classic cheese burger and fries. He said it was ‘bussin’ lol.. the only things that was missing for me was a mimosa in a beautiful glass.😋 I will be back!

I recently visited Chace’s Café in Pittsburgh and absolutely loved it! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance — cozy décor, soft lighting, and a welcoming staff.

I ordered their [insert dish name, e.g. “avocado toast with poached eggs” or “signature breakfast burrito”] and paired it with a latte. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The latte was smooth with just the right amount of foam. I also sampled one of their pastries (the [name of pastry]) — it was light, buttery, and clearly made in-house.

Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and helpful without being overbearing. Even when it got busy, the staff handled everything smoothly. The wait was reasonable, and our table was cleared promptly.

If I had to pick a downside, it’s that seating is somewhat limited during peak hours — you might find yourself waiting for a table. But that only emphasizes how popular this place is for a reason!

Overall, Chace’s Café is a gem — whether for breakfast, brunch, or a coffee date, I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, cozy vibes, and great service...

Great food, great prices. The cook has his good and bad days, mostly good, though. You can't beat the $2 wraps.

I am disgusted by the review from the miserable lady complaining that she wants to bring her dog around with no consideration on how it impacts others. If it was a huge restaurant, it wouldn't be such a problem, but there are a lot of people who don't want a dog near their food. DOGS SHED!!! I believe it should be a violation and I love my dogs. Ever consider people allergic to your dog? You have an emotional support dog, not a service dog, which obviously wasn't by your side when you went whining on this restaurant. Emotional suppport dogs are one of the most ridiculous ideas. I am a veteran who got blown up in Ramadi that got categorized with PTSD and I would never disrespect those who truly need a dog to assist them by having my dog considered an emotional support dog because I don't want him to have to wait for me to get home. I love my dog, too. But I don't believe it is fair for my consideration to be place above...
