I recently visited Chaceās CafĆ© in Pittsburgh and absolutely loved it! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance ā cozy dĆ©cor, soft lighting, and a welcoming staff.
I ordered their [insert dish name, e.g. āavocado toast with poached eggsā or āsignature breakfast burritoā] and paired it with a latte. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The latte was smooth with just the right amount of foam. I also sampled one of their pastries (the [name of pastry]) ā it was light, buttery, and clearly made in-house.
Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and helpful without being overbearing. Even when it got busy, the staff handled everything smoothly. The wait was reasonable, and our table was cleared promptly.
If I had to pick a downside, itās that seating is somewhat limited during peak hours ā you might find yourself waiting for a table. But that only emphasizes how popular this place is for a reason!
Overall, Chaceās CafĆ© is a gem ā whether for breakfast, brunch, or a coffee date, Iāll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, cozy vibes, and great service...

I am disgusted by the review from the miserable lady complaining that she wants to bring her dog around with no consideration on how it impacts others. If it was a huge restaurant, it wouldn't be such a problem, but there are a lot of people who don't want a dog near their food. DOGS SHED!!! I believe it should be a violation and I love my dogs. Ever consider people allergic to your dog? You have an emotional support dog, not a service dog, which obviously wasn't by your side when you went whining on this restaurant. Emotional suppport dogs are one of the most ridiculous ideas. I am a veteran who got blown up in Ramadi that got categorized with PTSD and I would never disrespect those who truly need a dog to assist them by having my dog considered an emotional support dog because I don't want him to have to wait for me to get home. I love my dog, too. But I don't believe it is fair for my consideration to be place above...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe menu is useless because it doesnāt tell you ingredients so you're left to use google review pics to try and decipher options. I ordered shrimp and grits, which based on everything seemed to be plain grits with shrimp. They also had a loaded option which looked to have onions and peppers. I donāt like all the added stuff so I got the regular. When my husband brought it home it was not plain and had everything in it. I picked it all out and ate it. I blame myself bc we couldve called and asked but the menu should have descriptions.
I also ordered a side of crispy bacon that was crispy (thank you) and 2 sides of hash browns that DID have a description and said āshredded potatoes with seasoningā and were $4 each. What they actually were was shredded hash brown patties soaked in greaseā¦each for $4?! That price was already too much but for 1 patty? Wow. My husband got an omelette without onions and it wasnāt even an omelette, it was just rolled up? And lastly, my scrambled eggs were also dripping in grease/butter. Not at...
