Let me preface by saying I live in Dormont and pass many other decent pizza places to go to LaVostra, but none stand up to their pizza. Absolute perfection--the secret is to start out with really good dough and quality ingredients. I have not had a bad pizza from here. Plain is good, white pizza good, buffalo chicken good, pierogie pizza good. The only thing I would change is to caramelize the onions first, but that is just my taste preference. No pictures cause I eat it too quickly. But when there are leftovers, the pizza holds up very well to reheating or eating cold....
Read moreCan I leave 10 stars? We are new to the area, the pizza was incredible! You can tell it was made with care and tons of flavor. Then, I didn't know why we had an extra box. Turns out they missed the note that we wanted half cheese half pep, they made me a little cheese pizza to fix the error. Even wrote a note! Folks aren't kind like this anymore. My fiancé and I were impressed. Other places would have thrown the mistake pizza away or just left the error. Love this place overall....

Like unbelievably floppy. Sauce kinda tastes like spaghetti sauce as well. Just so we’re on the same page, there is a HUGE difference between spaghetti and pizza sauce. Imagine slapping some prego on a pizza? Also ranch is not homemade just so the ranch people know not...
