On November 9, 2024, I visited the Wingstop in East Liberty for a late evening meal. The store was busy, which initially seemed like a positive sign. I ordered a boneless wing combo, which includes fries and a 20 oz drink, and paid without issue. However, after my transaction, Sunny, the staff member handling my order, did not give me a cup for the drink. I patiently waited, and once things calmed down, I asked her for the cup. Sunny then informed me, "We do not have any drinks left aside from Coca-Cola," and handed me the cup. I explained that I don't drink Coca-Cola and politely requested a cost adjustment since they couldn’t provide the advertised drink options. Sunny disregarded my request.
A male employee, who I suspected might be the manager, overheard and offered a bottle of Dasani water instead. I appreciated the gesture but felt it was still fair to receive a refund or partial adjustment for the drink cost difference. Both Sunny and the male employee declined to honor this request. To make matters worse, Sunny knowingly sold the combo without alerting customers that fountain drinks were unavailable.
Not only was there no regard for the customer's experience, but the fries were also cold, and the two wing flavors I ordered were mixed together instead of being separated.
Overall, this location left a lot to be desired in terms of customer respect and quality. I would not recommend ordering a combo here unless they make it clear that all drink options...

I was really looking forward to trying Wingstop at East Liberty, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered 40 wings, but when I got home, I found only 10 in my bag. When I called the store to resolve the issue, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior – the staff was yelling over the phone and showed no accountability for the mistake.
To make matters worse, the food I did receive was cold and lacked flavor, despite the fact that I live just 8 minutes away. I spent $70 for a meal for my kids, and the inconvenience and poor service left me extremely disappointed. I simply don’t understand how a location can overlook the basics of customer service, especially when it involves an order this size.
I’ve always had a great experience at other Wingstop locations, but after this, I’ll be avoiding this one at all costs. The combination of bad food, poor service, and lack of accountability has completely turned me off.
Unfortunately, this location has not lived up to the Wingstop standard. I hope they can improve, but as of now, I can’t recommend...
Read moreI saw a comment here that talked about a chemical flavor in the wings. I ordered wingstop 2 weeks ago and got kind of sick with a very strange taste in my mouth I’d never had before. Thought I was sick. I ordered it again today, and immediately I have the same taste in my mouth again. I quit eating the 15 wings I ordered. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order wings here. I don’t know what they’re doing behind the scenes but there is definitely something off about the taste of the wet sauces. it’s a metallic chemical throbbing taste that will not go away. I had it the next day as well. Very very odd. It isn’t healthy anyway. They import chicken from out of the country and I’ve heard before that the celebrity who endorses Wingstop has intentionally made it addictive and unhealthy. I can’t imagine what else. I’m going to contact the manager here, but I highly doubt there will be honesty. I’ve had other locations same exact sauces and wings and didn’t have a sickening...
