YINZ Coffee Gateway 1 — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

My spouse and I recently tried Yinz at the recommendation of a friend and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we went to this location today because it was convenient and on our route, and did not have a good experience. The barista was not at the counter when we arrived, so we had to wait 3-5 minutes for him to show up. After we ordered, we had to have one of the drinks remade because we’d asked for it iced and it was made hot. We totally understand accidents happen, but then the second drink we received was undrinkable. It had been barely shaken and the vanilla we’d paid for was not in the drink. A line had formed and we did not want to ask for it to be made a third time so we just threw it out. We will not be visiting this...

Had a lovely experience with barista, David. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and made great conversation, all while making my drink to my specific needs. I have allergies to a lot of things and he was very mindful and helped me make a selection best for me. The latte he made was delicious, with care and just wonderful. Been to YINZ several times and this was my first interaction with him and he was just wonderful. Highly recommend this location for David alone! Clean atmosphere and super cute...

I didn't get to purchase anything. I had missed my bus, phone needed charged so I couod call my manager. I was frantic. When I asked the one cashier if there was an outlet to charge my phone, they looked at me in an unpleasant way. I asked the other cashier, and she directed me to one. While there, many patrons came, and they both treated everyone with patience...
