Gateway Towers — Local services in Pittsburgh

All of the doormen + receptionists at Gateway Towers are so kind. I grew up visiting here. I love/reminisce about the Private Courtyard with the Art Deco purple fountain. Gateway is the only apartment building directly on Point State Park, adjacent to the Cultural District downtown and every biking and running trail along the river. And it is a 5 min walk to the North Shore restaurants, PNC Park, Heinz Field and Andy Warhol museum just over the bridge. I can actually see the live baseball games inside PNC Park from my condo windows. It’s a horrible place to live. The maintenance fee is outrageous. The condominium board does not stick up for its owners and it’ll bleed you dry with unnecessary expensive maintenance for example they approved a $15,000 painting in our lobby that looks hideous. I was rudely asked to leave by site staff for eating lunch on the picnic tables in the public space. If you don't want people to sit there, then why have the tables at all? It's really no wonder why the businesses in this building...
