What a horrible experience. Ordered our food at the counter. (I enunciate my words, I do not speak a foreign, I do not stutter.) I repeated my order three times to the girl behind the counter: "A double butter burger with cheese plain and pretzel bites with no cheese; a TWO piece cod dinner with broccoli for the two sides that come with the dinner; butter for the dinner roll and tartar sauce, please." After entering the order I noticed the cash register screen said "1 fish." I ask the girl if that is right, I ordered a two piece cod dinner. She nods and says it's okay; it's right. The total is $30.77. (I placed the identical order three weeks before and it was less than $30. Indiscriminate pricing seems to be an ongoing thing at Culvers.) My help and I eat at Culvers EVERY SATURDAY since November 2021 (usually the Culvers on Jackson Road.) This was our fifth Saturday dining at Culver's on Lohr Road. The drink cups were the only thing this girl got right. We take our cups, get our drinks, sit and wait about 15 minutes. The food that is delivered to our table is one piece of fish in a cardboard boat (no butter, no dinner roll, no tartar sauce) and two little sealed containers of (I am assuming) broccoli; the burger and the pretzel bites. Who does that after given explicit directions? They take the entire tray of food back and they evidently were starting a business meeting behind the counter when I went up to repeat EXACTLY what I had originally ordered (for a fourth time) and retrieve the burger and pretzel bites (that had cheese we'd asked NOT to get) for the person with me. 10-12 minutes later I get a two fish cod dinner with 2 servings of broccoli and a dinner roll... no butter, no tartar sauce. Their excuse was "she's only 15." (So what was the 20-something's excuse for delivering the second incomplete food order?) That's on YOU, Culvers. Why was she not being supervised while taking orders not knowing what she was doing? Shame on you for allowing her to take food orders without being fully trained. She is going to cost you more in waste and mistakes and lost repeat customers than she's worth. Horrible dining experience. We will...
Read moreToday, 1/20/25, before 12 pm, I visited this fast food place(to go ), which I think is one of the better ones. I've been here before, and I placed an order for my kid who always gets the butter cheese burger with grilled onions. I even had the receipt from the previous order, which confirmed that grilled onions were added to the sandwich.
The woman who took my order said they didn't have grilled onions as an option. I told her I've gotten them before, and maybe she wasn't aware. I then asked for the sandwich and a side of onions ring instead. (All conversation was less than a minute)That's when a rude and arrogant man intervened, saying I was making the woman uncomfortable and that they wouldn't serve me😳 . I don't recall the exact words, but I responded and immediately left. I was extremely upset and will never return to this establishment again!
I've never been treated so poorly in my life.
Today is January 26th and I wrote that review 6 days ago. I received my same order from Canton today and posted a picture of the receipt. Simply they add grilled onion! I remember even asking from that woman if you don't have any today or if you don't have in general? She was just surprised that I asked for something like that. Then rude man said we don't serve you at all.!!!( I wrote the...
Read moreCulver’s, as a whole, I do think is one of the better chain fast foods. This one, however, really let me down, and a lot of that I will accept is probably due to it recently opening.
If you come here, do not, I repeat, do not use the curbside ordering online. I put an order in, just two meals totaling $30, nothing complex, drove the 8 minutes to this location, checked in to let them know I had arrived, per instructions..and waited, and waited, and waited. Saw many cars come and go through the drive through, runners bringing food out as needed. After 20 minutes of waiting for them to bring the food out, which is the entire point of ordering ahead with curbside service, I went inside to ask.
My food has been sitting off to the side with the Uber Eats orders, and was apparently forgotten about completely. I didn't want to argue with the cashier who clearly had no idea about curbside orders, nor was it her job to care, but I was shocked at how dismissive they were when handing me my cold food that had been sitting for so long. The manger on site just said “well we’re short handed on runners today”. No option to remake the food hot or refund me for the two meals.
Very disappointing, and I hope they can iron out these details when they’ve been...
