UPDATE: First Watch has had plenty of time to work out their logistical issues, so I need to adjust my review. Unfortunately, I had to stop going here after giving them my business for several months. I really wanted them to figure it out but after having an entire entre missing from an order, having to wait in the cold for 45 minutes for it to be made (yeah, they just didn't make it), and several other orders missing drinks, etc. I've given up. Lastly, they sometimes disable their online ordering system, which funnels you to their phone system, which recommends that you order online, so it's intentionally a dead end to stop takeout orders during busy times - just be transparent and stop saying you allow phone/online orders when you clearly don't. They don't have the staff and/or proper organization to support online/phone orders. My eggs have also been under-cooked through several tries. I LOVE their food when they get it right, but they get it right so infrequently that I need to take a step back and maybe return when they figure it out. Maybe treat your staff better and pay them more so you can reduce turnover. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it seems like a training and organization issue. It might cost you a lot less to just pay your staff more.
There's so many things to like about the menu and the food at First Watch A2. I love their juice options - they taste SO good and fresh. The food is excellent and great portions for the price - I love their egg sandwich with avocado. They just really really need to improve their service. It's customer experience 101 to set expectations you can meet. Please don't give me a 10:30am online order completion time if there's literally no word on when it will come out after we've passed 11am. I kept y'all at 5 stars because I believe it's the best breakfast food in A2 and I know they must be completely slammed since they're new AND post-covid staffing is still super challenging.
Keep making excellent food and I'm sure the rest will...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at First Watch recently, and I have to say—it was one of the most enjoyable breakfast and brunch experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everything about my visit was absolutely top-notch.
First and foremost, the food was excellent. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into preparation. The menu had a wide variety of options to suit any taste, whether you’re in the mood for something light and healthy or something a bit more indulgent. I especially appreciated the seasonal selections and creative twists on classic breakfast items. Everything was cooked perfectly and arrived at the table hot and exactly as ordered.
The staff was equally impressive. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You could tell they cared not only about the food, but about the guests having a great experience. Our server was knowledgeable, quick to offer helpful suggestions, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. That kind of service goes a long way in making a good meal into a great one.
The ambience of the restaurant was also excellent. The space was bright, clean, and inviting—modern and comfortable without feeling too trendy or cold. The atmosphere was upbeat and relaxing, the kind of place where you could enjoy a casual breakfast or have a relaxed conversation over coffee. Even when the restaurant got busier, it never felt too loud or hectic.
In short, this was a truly enjoyable experience. First Watch gets everything right—delicious food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s not easy to hit all three consistently, but they did, and I will absolutely be back. Whether you’re meeting friends, taking the family out, or just grabbing a quiet meal on your own, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Read moreThis was our first visit. It was worth checking out, but honestly a little disappointing. We spent about $80 for 3 drinks, 3 entrees, and a side of potatoes. The drinks were pretty good, although the salted caramel coffee drink was gritty. My husband liked his cinnamon cocktail and ordered a second. The lavender blueberry French toast was fun and flavorful, if a bit dry. My husband ordered a B.E.C. sandwich and liked it. I thought that the havarti roast beef sandwich was very good and would order it again. I went with the mixed greens for my side (as opposed to a cup of soup), and was somewhat surprised to receive exactly that: simply a pile of arugula tossed in oily vinaigrette... seemed like kind of a waste, and for the price of the dishes, kind of a cheat. We were there for 30-40 minutes. I wish our server had pre-bussed our table, since we started to get a little crowded after awhile, but otherwise he did a fine job taking care of us. Which is why I was surprised to see him leaving for the day right as another server was dropping off our check. I even asked him if he wanted to wait a minute so we could cash out/tip out with him, which he declined. The host confirmed that servers keep their own sections at the restaurant, meaning someone who didn't interact with us at all during our meal (she handed us the check and our to-go boxes... I think someone else entirely bussed our table) collected the tip intended for our original server. That didn't sit right with me. Overall, the experience was ok. I think this place has potential, but we left feeling a...
