For many a Starbucks location is simply just that, another Starbucks location—but as I say all too often as with anything not all locations are created equal. This location is conveniently located among many restaurants, and retail establishments— but with that convenience comes a few not so convenient things to weigh in on before you stop by.
I also want to start off by saying that I have never been inside of this location but it is relatively "new" so I would anticipate that it reflects that —but feel free to chime in if I am way off and wrong.
For starters, the drive thru here is one of those one lane type deals where if there is an emergency or you just simply decide you no longer have that hankering for a latte, there is literally no way to get your vehicle out of the drive thru line without waiting behind everyone else—though I suppose it it was some sort of super emergency you could do some curb surfing and find a way out (though I obviously don't recommend that at all). While we're on the subject of the drive thru, if the line gets too long, it backs up and out of the main entrance which doubles as an entrance to the parking lot—so if the drive thru is congested it makes it incredibly difficult to get two cars through that particular entrance and the car trying to get in or out of the parking lot has to use the other entrance/exit. Definitely not a "deal breaker" but absolutely an inconvenience. This location in general is not setup to handle a very long drive thru line, and you'll see what I mean if you end up here and there is a hefty wait.
One more thing you may or may not catch on to right away, is that this location is a tad more expensive than other locations. Ten cents in my case—but hey have you seen the economy lately, ten cents is ten cents. This is also not a deal breaker, as I have been here several times and always end up coming back here when I am in the area.
When all is said and done the employees here are friendly, and I have never had an issue with my order being correct—which means something because there are definitely locations that are sometimes on the "struggle bus" for lack of a better term. So expect an accurate, efficient, and friendly Starbucks experience that almost always comes with a wait—that is almost...
Read moreI'm quite disappointed in this particular Starbucks location. I ordered a Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade, a brownie, and one of their Protein Boxes. I received the box and the brownie at the counter, declining the option to have my brownie heated. I waited for about 3 minutes to receive my drink along side a few other patrons. The first lady who had received her beverage picked it up high enough that I could see it. It looked like one third of her beverage was missing. I assumed she might have asked for her drink without whip cream. Two other patrons received their beverages the same way each one looking at the drink for a minute confused and walking away. Then I received mine and the same situation occured. The problem with my drink is that there is no whip cream. I simply ordered the largest size they offer. (Those words exactly, since I don't go to Starbucks often I'm not completely familiar with their sizes.) In any case, I should never be skimped for one third of my beverage! That's unacceptable and lazy. I'm assuming they had a few orders and we're trying to quickly get them out of the way, but devaluing quality over being timely is never a way to run a business! I'm in the guest service industry and I understand being overwhelmed by volumes of patrons, but that does not mean we decrease the value of our product. That a fantastic way to lose patrons. I would recommend visiting any of their sister locations instead. I've never been taken advantage of at the other...
Read moreTime and time again I go to this Starbucks and I don’t even know why anymore. They used to be good and get my order right all the time. Today I left with this. When I ask for extra drizzle they usually at least like the cup. This doesn’t even look close enough to what is advertised.
Update: tried again. Only one person was working and the other 2 were off in the back while there was a large line. Everything says they close at 9pm on fridays and Saturday’s. After calling for 10-minutes straight, I finally got an answer. She stated they were closed and cleaning which is why they didn’t hear the phone. I explained my drinks are never made right, I asked for a large and got a medium. When I explained my frustrations she just said okay. I asked what can she do for me, not expecting to carry this conversation. She said I can speak with a team lead or have my drink remade. I don’t always have time to get my drink remade before work and they obviously don’t have the time seeing the long line. It takes them 15-minutes to get a single drink. I asked her to leave my number so someone can call me. She then proceeded to explain she cannot give out numbers. I repeated myself and she again told me to call the store. After being a manager in fast food, it was a terrible way to handle a customer. Not one apology. Wish I knew the girl who did make the drinks because the other 2 don’t know what...
