I'm pretty bummed, Jets has always been my fave pizza chain, so my husband and I switch off, and we had gotten from the Oak Valley one for a while. I'm sad because I'm having a hard time trusting that this location is vegetarian friendly after today. I'm vegetarian (and have worked with a lot of pet pigs at my previous job) so the smell of pepperoni or the idea of the grease from it being on my food is something that really turns me off my food and makes it so I can't eat it. My husband and I had thus always ordered two separate pizzas, clean cutters for mine, but after I really wanted Jets today my husband wanted to save money and said he could just eat my cheese today even though he is not vegetarian and likes pepperoni on his usually. I suggested we ask them if they could do the 8 corner (it's like 2 smaller pizzas) in two separate boxes so the pepperoni smell/juices doesn't get all on mine. We called and they said they could do that.
Well, we got the pizza stuff, and unfortunately the pizzas were together in the same box. I just could not eat that even if I wanted to, just knowing the pepperoni juice got on my pizza, and the smell. I called, and I was really nice, but asked if there was something we could do (we were hoping to get just my pizza re-delivered so I could still eat and we would've been happy to pay a second tip.) I should mention too, the people we'd spoken to on the phone up to that point and the delivery driver were very nice.
They put the manager on, and it was not a conversation that made me feel good at all. He started talking about how the order had been all put in as all pepperoni (it was a phone order and I heard my husband have the whole long conversation about the cheese one so I'm not really sure why he even told me that as it just reaffirmed there was a lot of miscommunication on their end) but then he said they had realized it must be half cheese half pepperoni from a note about the clean cutter. Then he said the delivery driver had explained everything so I was worried he was going to blame the delivery driver (who knew nothing about it as we didn't discover the issue until he left), so I'm not sure what he meant, but he seemed annoyed that I corrected him that our delivery driver couldn't have known, but maybe he meant someone else, I don't know. He seemed to reiterate that the clean cutter had been done, but the person my husband spoke with, I'm not sure why she would put a note in about the cutter and not the separate boxes, and I don't know why they wouldn't call us back if they could do one thing and not the other, and I don't understand why anyone would use a meatless cutter for one pizza and then push it up against a meat pizza. Either way, it was some sort of a mistake so I would've been fine if he seemed to care like it actually was mistake, but I did not get that impression and he just told me multiple times they can't do separate boxes for that, and I could get a $5 credit for the future. I think they just couldn't be bothered.
I felt really uncomfortable about that, because A.) I'm not paying another $20 bucks because they told us they could do something and then did not and didn't inform us, and I was the one that wanted the pizza, and now can't eat, and B.) if they care so little about diet restrictions, I personally just can't trust the clean cutter thing or other diet restrictions. We called and ordered from a different Jets right after, owned my someone else, and that different place was super helpful and you could tell they cared about diet restrictions and understood, and also said they would and do do separate boxes for people in similar situations, so we'll be getting from their instead in future, and I got a new pizza from the new location for tonight.
It's too bad this location doesn't understand why diet restrictions are important to people, but probably just as well to...

I’ve ordered delivery from this location a few times over the last year or so. Delivery has been horrible EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I mean, they are creative in their abilities to come up with excuses, at least. Cars breaking down, “we got 15 orders right after yours,” “I think we left the pizza with someone….no idea who, though!”…..
I mean, sure, it’s great pizza. But when you get a delivery estimate of 1 hour and then it turns into 2…or 3…..it’s pretty ridiculous. And when we’ve attempted to cancel a previous order when updated delivery estimates were met with “we really have no idea,” it was like we were asking them to solve the world’s most complicated problem. Just don’t do it. Plenty of other places to get pizza delivered...
Read moreThis store sucks! Always close to or over an hour for delivery. Our old store in Canton was the best. They delivered within 25 minutes nearly every time. I have no idea what the issue is with this location. Tonight we ordered at 8:15 Pm. Told 45-60 min. Got a call at 9:11. Said the drivers car broke down at the light. They were waiting for the other driver to get back so he could get our driver and deliver our pizza. At 9:45 called to get stays update. I am literally 4 - 5 minutes from this location and was told I was that drivers first stop before his car died. So what’s the hold up. They finally arrived at 10:25. Over two hours late. Ridiculous. The 2nd driver should have picked up the other driver and the two orders, delivered those then went and get gas for the driver. What delivery driver let’s his tank...
