We've been visiting this particular location off and on for a couple of years. Recently, over the past five months standards and conditions have changed in regards to the food and the customer service! We don't even order french fries at this location because they have always been old, cold and not edible. The customer service hit a low point during a visit last month when I walked in the door and was not acknowledged by so much as a "hello" or "I'll be right with you" for over 7 1/2 full minutes!! Backs were turned to the counter and others were just indifferent, I was amazed and if it wasn't nighttime, I hadn't ordered online in advance and was about to drive 276 miles I would have walked out and looked for another place to grab some convenient food close by to eat in the car. I subsequently contacted the owners whose email is on the front door and outlined my complaint and to this day I have never heard back from them!! Unbelievable!! Last Saturday, the 7th I was back in the area and in a rush to get home after a long 24 hour trip into town and grabbed food from here and started eating it probably 10 minutes after I got it. It was terrible!! The buns tasted stale, the meat tasted like it had been in the holding tray for way too long and the cheese was still cool and not remotely melted like it should be on a cheeseburger. Needless to say I got food poisoning and was sick for almost 3 days!! I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed after being a McDonald's customer since I was a young child that this particular franchise shows so little interest in their customers or their product! Read moreIt pains me to give this negative review because I've had such great interactions with some of the folks there: friendly and genuine folks who make you feel welcome. However, the wait times for food are getting absurd. Yesterday, tuesday at 7:20pm I ordered a crafted sandwich combo, waited 20 minutes in the lobby for it. Where previously my wait times seemed obviously due to low staffing (I've been there and empathize) I counted 6-7 staff members, and I wasn't the only one waiting. Some people seemed to wait just as long and their order was wrong on top of it. Previously as stated I also have had long wait times (that I didn't track but felt just as long or longer) both in the car and walking in. I always gave the benifit of the doubt but it's been far too consistent for a long time now, and it seems to be usually tied to afternoon crews as I so pretty good in morning wait times the couple times I have been there.
I can't reccomend this McDonald's for now because the benefit of going to a fast food chain is in the name: It's fast. I tolerate some wait time because fast doesn't mean instant, sometimes business is busy but it's been getting worse and when we are hitting 20-25 minute wait times I'd pay the two-three dollars more to go to 5 guys and get a more complete food experience. Outside of that, the place is clean, my food has never been cold or constructed poorly... I really do feel bad giving a bad review because as far as McDonald's go, this is a better one in every way...
Read moreThe morning started out great, I'm going stop and grab breakfast. Then I noticed the frame of first window at the drive up was filthy from months of hand contact! I mention to the gentleman at the station and he slammed the window shut and turned away! Drove to the second window and asked for a manager to let them know about the window frame and she said I didn't know what I was talking about because the employees never touch the frame of the window and then slammed the window shut and walked away! Then I received my order I asked the third person just have someone take a look at it, and she said "we don't time for that and slammed the window shut and turned away! Just trying to be helpful! I guess speed is more important than basic food safety. By the way as someone who is consider a leader in cleaning industry, the soil on the window has happen over a long period of time, months if not years! Just a simple okay we will check out would have been a better way handle it! I'm concerned about cleanliness, yet what is more alarming is the cultural aditude of the work place. When you see consitant (almost liked trained) behavore in the work place be it good or bad tell you a lot about the owners behavore.
