King's Teriyaki Grill — Restaurant in Placentia

Not bad at all. I feel like it could be a little cheaper for the kind of food you get. The chicken combo plate is about $11. The food was good for sure but it was just regular chicken teriyaki and a simple salad. As far as taste goes, I enjoyed it ok, but I just don't see what would make me decide to eat here over somewhere else where I can get a cheaper lunch.

I was going to give this place a 3 star because it's average, which is fine. But while I was waiting for my order, the cook noticed I had been waiting a while and explained that had to start a new batch of chicken, which is why it was taking so long. I didn't really care, but he apologized and offered me a free drink for my troubles. Mistakes happen and that's fine, but acknowledging them and just making an effort to correct them is called character. A little goes a long way, so an extra star it is for this place hiring a kind...

First visit, went for dinner with a friend and we loved it. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean and neat surroundings, quick service and the food was terrific! We both had the combo plate of chicken and beef, with rice and then half vegetables/half salad (with Honey Mustard dressing). The teriyaki sauce was not like I've had elsewhere...it appeared more "gravy-like" but we both liked it. I had some salmon also and all three meats were terrific. In fact, in my opinion, that is what makes King's stand out far beyond it's other "teriyaki bowl" competitors. Their meat is premium stuff...or it appeared and tasted to me as though. These other places seem to use lesser cuts and quality meat...not here! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you try this place for very good, reasonably priced teriyaki bowl, burrito...

3/21/2024 New Review I am regular customer for couple years now. I highly recommend all menus. I am not joking all menus are tasty.

My choice will be Burgers/ fries, Teriyaki Plates (Chicken and Beef both are good) / Beef Burritos / Tacos.

This Restaurant is TO GO ABLE BUT ALSO GREAT PLACE FOR LUNCH OR DINING IN.

I love Teriyaki Combo Plate and burgers.

There Double Cheese Burger is the one of my favorite burger in my entire burger life. When u order please do (Everything’s on it )

ALSO THEY USED TO CLOSE BECAUSE OF COVID-19 but today, they started business again. N I am currently writing this review while chugging down their burger.
