The Corner Spot — Restaurant in Placerville

Today's work location! It was laundry day so we headed into Placerville to hit up the laundromat. Yelp is our go-to for finding new (to us), well-rated places, especially since Art is an Elite Yelper. Searching for coffee and tea, The Corner Spot shows up right across the street! A quick look at the menu confirmed that it would be the perfect place for us. It is a healthy café serving shakes, teas & other nutritious treats. We also got to meet the most awesome people! Owners Jami and Abraham were manning the store. We felt warmly welcomed upon arrival, and as the wide variety of options were explained. Everything we tried tasted so decadent, it felt like such an indulgence! They are so in-tune with their customers that if they see you grooving to the music playing, they adjust the playlist to keep you moving. So we worked, first sipping teas then meal replacement shakes for lunch. I had the Chunky Monkey and Art opted for the peanut butter cup. Ermahgerd......

I stopped in because I had to do a delivery to here, I started talking to one of the girls & she suggested I try the Watermelon jolly rancher. She made me one & it is AMAZING!! This is the cutest little place too, there is an adorable setting here. They offer yummy energy drinks (definitely suggest the watermelon jolly rancher lol) protein smoothies, & good healthy snacks too. As someone who is on the go doing deliveries & needs to be in/out quick this place was great. She made my drink super quick & customer service was awesome. The girls there were really nice. Up front parking, wheelchair accessible as well. Perfect place to go & relax to have your drink maybe read or talk with friends. Just went here for the first time and I will definitely be coming back. So excited to have a fast, refreshing, HEALTHY, option for a snack or meal. They have kids and adult options, with tons of protein, and low sugar. And kudos to the kind woman serving me: when she saw my family was wearing masks, she graciously offered to put hers on. I appreciate that she took the effort to make me feel comfortable.
