I rarely give a one-star review - this might be my second or third time. (And I've written a lot of reviews.) I waited 30 minutes today for one frappucino. I ordered at the counter, and understand that people were ahead of me that had previously sent in orders via the app or drive thru, etc. However, several names added on the screen under "Received" after mine, and after about 20 minutes and watching the names move from column to column, but mine never moving, I asked the person at the counter, who told me there was someone working the cold bar, and that they fill the orders in the order that they are received. This was definitely an absolute lie. They put the names on the board alphabetically rather than first in - first out so you never know how many people were served before you. I was standing in line to request my money back and to cancel my order when my name finally moved to "in progress." When the barista handed me my drink she said, "sorry about that wait." I will absolutely never go back to that Starbucks on the beltline just south of the Grand River. I texted someone who was waiting for me to come visit at 7:27 am just after I paid for my order and began my wait. Then I texted that person at 7:58 am when I finally got my order to let them know I was finally on my way. 30 minutes to make a single blended coffee drink... Wow. Read moreI ordered a simple drink from Peter at the location. Venti hot tea with 3 honeys. Not only did 2 people who came in after me get there more complex drinks before me, Peter brought me a grande tea. I told him I order a venti and he questioned me. I watched Peter remake the drink ( after he served another customer that arrived after me) and he did not add honey to the drink. When I asked him if honey was in the drink he said yes. I had full visibility of him from the end of the counter and I know he did not add honey to my tea as I requested 10 mins earlier. I tasted and check the tea for honey with a stirrer. No honey. When I challenged Peter on the honey, he said he put it in there. A female barista interjected and I explained that this is a simple drink and it's clear the drink was not made as I requested. The Peter reached for 3 packets of honey (opposite the counter where my drink was made) and said I put three in. I told him he did not and he could hand me the honey and I'll add it myself. Sarcastically he said, "how many, two?" I told him 3. Read moreTerrible experience! They got our order wrong on all three drinks, I was fine with one of the drinks but needed two to be remade. The barista was really rude about it all. Even though my order was $18, a significant amount of money to me, it seemed she thought I didn’t deserve the drinks I ordered. At one point, while I was waiting with other customers, she pointed me out and said “I’m sorry about your guys’ wait, I had to remake her order!” I which I found to be incredibly uncomfortable, unprofessional, and rude. I also never received an apology for my wait, only blame for the other customers’ experiences. I paid for this treat with what was close to an hour of my life via wages, and I expect decent treatment and the correct order in exchange for what I’ve paid. When I did finally get my drink, it looked nothing like what I ordered, included this disgusting unmixed water/syrup at the bottom, and was missing its cold foam.
