The first time we went in, we wanted to buy the $100 gift card with $55 promotion card then at the end of our meal, we wanted to apply the $100 towards our food. The waiter "claimed it cannot be applied until 24hours." I had asked before coming in and they said it was possible. Why wouldn't it be possible if you can sell the card to me before dinner? If I had purchased the cards, stepped out and come back 1 hour later, this would have been fine? Pretty stupid to me! The manager promised to give us dessert when we come back to the restaurant again (We thought it was odd that he offered it for next time rather than the same day the issue happened. Won't you want to make your customer happy now so they can come back again?) The 2nd time we went there, we were on a 50 minute waiting list which turned into 1hour, 20minutes wait. We sat down and I ordered the same food I had the first visit. The food came in and it didn't taste the same. Also, the creamy seafood pasta should have a thick creamy sauce not watery. When I told the manager, he offered to bring me another sauce IN A CUP rather than taking the food and remaking or revamping it. What would a sauce in a cup do for a bowl of $40 pasta? I lost my appetite at that point and didn't eat the food. My daughter's chicken came with no sauce. We asked 3x and we didn't get it until about 20-30mins. My daughter laid on the couch and couldn't eat. My husband and I tried encouraging her to eat but she seem disinterested. To make matters worse, on our way out, the manager never offered another food but instead charged me $4 for a drink that he never even offered to give me. At that point, I didn't even bother because I had no strength in me to ask for a correction again. For a new business, I am highly disappointed. My family and I explore restaurants and this has fall short. We have gift cards and coupons from the Fused and don't even care to go...
Read moreI have dined here for dinner twice now in the last few months. My first experience coming was the lively atmosphere and music selection. I really enjoyed the playlist and vast menu both for food and drinks.
The first time I came, the Steak Frites were very tough and I almost choked (no joke). We told our waiter about it and I believe they took it off the bill but not 100%. The drinks were tasty and the food was good, a little pricey but saves me a drive from going to the city so can't really complain.
I take my Mother out for her birthday every year and I always try to make it special in some way. I put in our notes before dining it was her birthday, I honestly don't think the host even related this information to our server. Was no mention of Happy Birthday or anything special, which working in the industry for years Fuse'd drop the ball on that.
I didn't like how quick our server was with getting orders in, felt almost rushed and had to say we are going to enjoy our apps before putting in an order to slow it down a bit. There was two separate times where we had empty plates, glasses from our drinks just sitting at our table on the corner (this is an issue for me because it shows nobody is paying attention to what's going on at our table). Server passed a few times before I had to make it evident. Also, where is the bus boy is there even one that works here...if anything it falls on them not the server.
My Mother did mention the seafood pasta was really sweet not very savory. We all took a bite to try, it was good but way too sweet for a pasta dish with seafood, didn't make much sense to me or her. The rest of the food was delicious.
Overall, cool place, fun atmosphere, service is good but not great and food I can say is good based on what you get. Solid 4 star but could use a little work to make it a 5! Probably give it a little time before I return, hopefully fix these...
Read moreThe food was delightful. The service was excellent.
The atmosphere... well. Idk. The place is beautiful but then they got this stupid paper on the table. Keep hearing servers crunch it all up around the room as they clean, hearing it from our table as we move, its like putting a lil trashy on top of their classy and idk why they chose to do this. Sure, save on laundry from their nice table cloths that you can't even see, etc.. but the people are so casual you'd be better off without those too. Just skip it and save the waste. I absolutely hate the whole paper thing.
The club music was meh.. and gah, was too loud. Plus we were seated close to the kitchen so we could also hear their music and clancking abouts... if you have auditoy sensory issues, definitely stay out of here.
The tables are uncomfortably close to each other. You can hear every bit of everyone's conversation and the poor servers have to squeeze though. One girl basically had her butt on our table while bringing another table their food, and another sever was stuck under our paper table cover while she talked to the other table for several minutes.
Our table was set with plates and glasses on the side closest to the other guests... wth? That is just weird; we promptly sat at the other end of the table and moved our stuff around.
I really thought this was going to be a relaxing dinner to celebrate our anniversary, but all the nuances actually left us exhausted. I wish we'd have at least be seated in the quieter side of...
