McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainfield

Two drive thru windows . Big screen inside to order off of and u can pay at screen too. Can sit and have food brought to your table . Update drive thru is now so slow u think they hired the burger king people . The lines use to be long in both sides and moved fairly quick . Now , not many people in drive thru cause they probably see how bad their service has gotten . And they are still slow with three people ahead of me. They should watch The Founder with Michael Keaton.. yes , less food back then but it was a smooth operation. I don't know what happened but it's terrible now . And I only live less than five min away and my food is cold when I get home. Apr 23 2023 . So I ordered a triple cheeseburger after sitting in slow line preordered it and I get home and it's a cheeseburger. And there's no way to get reimbursed online . I mean if I order a meal on Door dash and it's messed up I go on there and get reimbursed . Same with 7 eleven yet I can't on...

Theres a young man at this McDonald's name Nabbi, i believe. He has an issue with his speech which is not the issue. The issue is him not recognizing it, gets your order wrong because he is trying to say it back then when you get to the window and tell him the order is wrong on the receipt and he says I said it back to you twice while you are barely understanding that. He was very arrogant and rude I asked to speak to the manager. I tried to pay the difference like she told me to after a while of waiting to pay, she just tells me to move up. I never paid the difference (i believe because of the communication, again.) I get to the next window to pick up my food. I check my bag, order is wrong. They fix it but I don't understand why it was so hard to get my food on this particular day. Theres seem to be a language barrier going on now and it's honestly...

There's always a group of chill guys playing chess all the time when I come in and the commentary is hilarious (even though I'm just here to get my order), and there's a weird kids game machine but wife loves the sudoku on it (...happy wife happy life).

Only issue sometimes staff don't get the directions right on the iced coffee at all. Unfortunately for me, that's why I come here (McDonalds ice coffee is better than burnt tasting Starbucks ultra fancy macchiato and whatever other Italian words for no reason imo).

But they will do everything else exact so far super particularly which is unusual for a McDs -- and I appreciate it.

Anyway the staff are nice and the place usually get everything right after coming here at least 20x... Just please get people's coffee orders if you can because some of us depend on it...
