Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Plano

I typically don’t write reviews on restaurants, but today took the cake. I placed a mobile order for this chipotle and arrived 10 minutes before my order time was due. I walked in, I sat down in a chair and waited for them to prepare my order. In the time that I was sitting there more people did enter the establishment. It wasn’t a big deal. I patiently waited until it was time for my order to be finalized upon the agreed-upon time. 430 comes my order is still not ready,no problem. I continue to sit there and wait. 440 comes, My order is still not ready. I walk up and stand in the line to talk to someone. I talk to the “manager“ and ask him for a refund because at this point, my order is not ready and I am late for work. The manager proceeded to tell me that I will have to contact customer support in order to get my refund. I walk out the door I walk to my car. I look for the number for customer support. Can’t find it so I returned to the establishment to ask for the number but by this time now my order is ready, but it’s almost 20 minutes past due. I do understand that things happen and that people get busy but the correct thing would have been for them to let the next guest know to give them one second they have to complete a mobile order and they will be right with them so now I’m over 30 minutes late to work waiting for an order that should’ve been...

Dirty!! Cold food & not fresh 🥶, cold chips & stale or not fresh. I hope I don't get sick. I love Chipotle, but this restaurant needs a make over. Something told me to walk away, but I didn't use my judgement and I still ate because I'm tired and I'm on a budget, so now I'm going to have a date with my toilet in the next few minutes, thank you Chipotle for the toilet date.. Money down the toilet in a few minutes, don't even have time to digest. There is no point going back, because restaurants always have an excuse not to give your money back, well fix your order, but why fix my order if you can't get the job right the first time. NOW!! I know why downtown has a lot of business with food trucks here in Dallas, I'm not from here but I'm learning. There is no point going to a restaurant that has fast pace. I'm going to have to do my research before jumping into a bacteria fungus food 🙃 problem. Dallas is very clean and very nice, but the food sucks. I feel like this location is a hit or miss. Which is disappointing because I am a loyal customer even after having a terrible experience with chipotle..

Anyways the steak at this location is always a hit or miss… it really does depend on the cook that day. I ordered a steak bowl & steak burrito. The steak had no flavor at all… with all the stuff added to my burrito it tasted like nothing! There was way too MUCH fat with my steak. To the point where my meal wasn’t even appetizing. Then the small portions they tried to put into my bowl was ridiculous, not even a full spoon of steak and when I asked for a little more I was charged for double steak.

I randomly grabbed a card with the manager contact info & when I called, I got an operator. 🙄 so here I am writing this review.

Update 05/04: Took a Lyft to & from chipotle. I get home, start eating my burrito to find PLASTIC in my food… never buying from this location again.
