BoomerJack's Grill — Restaurant in Plano

A new restaurant just opened not to long ago. My wife, child and I decided to stop here on our day of shopping. The vibe is like a sports bar, has a bar, indoor and outdoor seating, lots of T.V.'s. It was before noon, the restaurant was not busy. We ordered drinks, waitress brought back water and stated would take a minute for the drinks, we told here that is fine. We scanned our menus through the app, read the menu and decided what we wanted before we got our drinks. Me not getting a good first impression told my wife we should have went to the other restaurant we were considering, she stated give it a chance. The waitress comes back with drinks, takes our order, there was no kids menu on the app so she went and got one. My daughter picks out hot dog minis and she comes back and states that is the one item on the menu not available. My daughter looked down and then decided on another item. Our food comes out! My daughter starts to eat, my wife got a hamburger and asked for ketchup, I got a steak. I began to eat along with my daughter. My wife was sitting there waiting for ketchup. My wife watched our waitress help several tables and go back to the kitchen at least twice and yet to bring back ketchup. My drink was empty while I ate most of my meal. The waitress comes over and stated the ketchup will be right out. So my wife was waiting. After about 15 minutes my wife got up and walked to the hostess. The manager did come over but at that time the food was cold. They offered to fire it again but we decided against it. They did offer a discount. The bigger issue is it was not that busy and to get a condiment takes two seconds, and should never take that long. The food was good for myself and my daughter. But the attitiveness of the staff is not there, to many in the bar watching t.v. versus paying attention to the bar...

A premium Bar and Grill, our first visit here to this new location. We were very impressed by everything. The staff was friendly, cordial and professional throughout. Just the right amount of attention without being pretentious. Loved all the super clear High resolution TV monitors virtually any direction from any seat in the house or the outside patio bar and you can still see and hear the game. My opinion this maybe our new stop in for MMA fight night. The manager said they will have most Friday and Saturday MMA events on there screens!! Awesome!. Amelia was our server and she was great and really friendly. Drinks and appetizers and main corse came out of the kitchen with expediency. Our glasses were never in danger of running empty under our Waitress careful eye. The beer was cheap to comparable Bar and Grills in the area and Frosty ice cold. We sampled the fried Pickles first and they were top notch. Perfectly crisped batter and fried in very clean oil, delicious. My wife and I both sampled Wagyu Cheese burgers for our main corse and they where made to order and cooked to perfection. Juicy and mouth watering delicious (Ray Charles zone). Portions where very generous as were the cheddar cheese fries that where also obviously cut and fried in house. Overall I'd say this establishment is a winning business model for this cut throat category in the DFW area and id have to easy place them in the top 5 category. Will definitely be back to sample more of their drinks and delicious cuisine. Thanks for a wonderful evening. (I would also like to add that when you factor price and quality to most other Bar and Grills in the vicinity Boomer Jacks will come in on top of the pile and an obvious cut...

First I want to say BoomerJack's in Fairview was absolutely amazing! And so my family, friends, and I we wanted to try the one off 121 in Plano and I love the atmosphere! They had a fire going outside, it was perfect weather. Honestly our waitress was great, just maybe a little slow with service, but great attitude. Very sweet. I had a little discrepancy. I ordered the poblano Burger and it comes with yummy ghost pepper mayonnaise and I got a side of broccoli. Not a big deal but when it came out it came out with broccoli and carrots and I don't like carrots cooked so she took back the broccoli and carrots...I'm eating my burger and I pull a long curly hair out of my mouth from the burger...that I even paid 1.99 for a for a gluten-free bun and another 1.99 extra for an impossible Patty. When they remake the burger, they bring it back with no cheese and no ghost pepper mayonnaise. It was literally dry. So she brings me a slice of melted cheese and a side of the ghost pepper mayonnaise. So i basically got full of my broccoli 🥦 🙃 And then they actually put the Burger on my check!! 😳 I didn't feel like I should have had to pay for that... They did end up taking it off of my bill, the manager was really nice as well!!!... but I don't feel that I should have had to ask to remove it. It was disgusting!!!! Ewww to pull a hair...a LONG curly hair out of my throat from food... ther than that the place is great! I just feel like they may need a little bit more help or the cooks just need to be more aware of what they're making but the one at Fairview had great service, great food, great atmosphere. No problems I love boomerjacks!...
