Usually, Iâm not too picky about my nails as I get the same design every time, however I really donât like when people waste my time and misrepresent their services. I arrived at this location at around 9:00pm and I did not leave until after midnight to almost 1am. Thatâs a completely unacceptable amount of time for nails and a pedicure. The worst part was that they didnât even complete my nails correctly. I asked for dip nails only to find out on hour 3âŚthey do not have that option for me. There were approximately 3-4 customers in the spa including myself and there were 4 technicians. There is absolutely no reason for a technician to be 25% - 50% through a service and just get up and walk away for 20 minutes or more while Iâm still covered in chemicals. But thatâs exactly what each of the technicians did at one point or another then eventually passed my service to another technician. Obviously, this explains the extremely long service time. It also appears they open at 10am and end their working day after midnight? That seems completely unsafe to me. If I had known that, I would not be encouraged to arrive late for fear of the staffâs exhaustion putting my fingers and toes in danger. Also, the staff appear so tired that they have displeased attitude that will affect customer perception. Also, they are distracted. Every technician in that spa was on their phone for at least 5 - 15 minutes of my service (since every technician did a part of my service I know this to be true). As a service business owner myself, not giving your customers your whole focus is rude and sometimes dangerous.
My advice? Completely ban cell phones on the spa floorâhave staff put them in a basket where they canât touch them. Hire 2 shifts of staff for your business and increase the price of your services after 8pm. That should more than cover the cost and it will keep your staff happy (who I suspect might be all family members) and will double your customer satisfaction. Track your customers requirements on a check list you provide at the beginning of the service so you know what a customer asked for (every time a new technician ârestartedâ my services they didnât know what I had asked for at all). I like that you are a late night weekday nail salon (I think there should be more) but that shouldnât come at the expense of customer safety or convenience. I know many people would be happy to pay more for extended hours, but please stop wasting customerâs time and putting peopleâs health at risk to save $$. Clean up your spa, menus, and equipment give your services cleaner, minimalist, and luxury appearanceâthat will help justify the higher prices as well. Host special events on the weekends (and promote them) where you hire a DJ, the charge a nominal cover with cost of your services. Have better drink options on the weekends and charge after the first drink. I know these things have an initial cost, but if you donât invest in your business, you canât really complain when customers arenât willing to invest or...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. Iâm from out of town and came to this salon for a mani-pedi because it was the only place open late. I arrived around 9pm, showed the nail tech a photo of what I wanted, and she said âno problem.â But around halfway through, I realized it looked nothing like the photo. On top of that, it had been almost THREE HOURS and we still werenât done.
I politely let her know that the nails look nothing like the reference photo and I wouldnât be paying full price for the manicure, but will absolutely still be paying for the pedicure. If it hadnât been almost 1am, I wouldâve just had her remove the nails altogether, they were that bad.
When I stepped outside to grab my card from my car (which was parked directly in front), she ran out yelling in a foreign language and started taking pictures of me and my car. I am a young girl and was alone in a dark parking lot and honestly started to feel unsafe. At that point, I told her I absolutely would not be paying for any services. She then said she was calling the police, and I highly encouraged her to do so.
When the officers arrived, they informed me that this is a common occurrence. Eventually, we agreed Iâd just pay for the pedicure and move on. As Iâm paying, the nail tech âaccidentallyâ adds a 12% tip, which the officers catch and ask her to void and redo the transaction. I paid $60 and thought it was finally over.
đ¨đ¨This morning, I checked my bank account, I WAS CHARGED TWICE.đ¨đ¨
This was hands down the worst customer service experience Iâve ever had. The nails were terrible, the behavior was beyond unprofessional and intimidating, and I was overcharged despite police involvement. Please save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else.
Edit: This response is absolutely comical and entirely untrue. I came in well before close, and was at the salon for around 3 hours. I absolutely did not get in my car nor turn it on. I opened my door and grabbed my credit card from the cup holder, which the woman clearly saw considering she was 10 feet away from me. It is my mistake for forgetting it in the first place, but she quite literally watched me open my door and grab my card immediately. I even waited outside of my car for the cops to arrive. Never once did I get in my car or try to leave.
This is a blatant lie. I would NEVER not pay for a service. On top of this, I was so jarred after the situation I sat in the parking lot for around 15 minutes and one of the upstanding officers saw me as he was driving by and came back to my window and apologized for the situation. It was very obvious that I was not trying to leave without paying. Once again, do not go to this nail salon. Completely ridiculous.
Also for the record, my âdetailedâ pedicure being described is plain red...
Read moreMe and my husband went late at night around 10pm to get pedicures and there was no customers at all only an older lady who was the boss Iâm assuming and about 6 men just hanging around. The lady told me to pick a color and after I picked one we were standing for about 5 minutes with no one saying anything to us till one of the guys finally told us to sit down and I will say the service was great! They didnât wear gloves but I donât necessarily have too much of a problem with that, the massage was wonderful and they took good care of our nails. But at the same time it was very uncomfortable and weird. Both men (the one working on my husband and the one working on me) were not trying to hide it at all or be slick with the fact they were talking about me to each other. They were both literally looking right at my face and pointing at me and then would say something to each other in their language for the whole service, and when Iâd look at them theyâd look away like I havenât been seeing them stare at me the whole time?! When filing the feet my husband got a bit ticklish and I did as well and they made very offended faces at us and looked almost disgusted to be honest, they kept saying something to each other about us then looking right into our eyes with the same faces- we were not being over dramatic like kicking our feet or wiggling around, just getting a bit stiff and giggling a bit so it was very strange and off putting. A mom and daughter came in around this time and the mom would be talking to them and they literally were ignoring her and not even looking at her UNTIL she got a bunch of upgrades and added pedicures THEN they perked up and wouldnât stop talking to her. They also offered them drinks right when they came in and we were never offered even a water. When they were done they didnât say a word to us, just got up from their seat and were walking around talking to each other or on their phones. We sat for about 10 minutes just waiting with no one saying anything to us and we decided to just get up ourselves which they saw, all looking at us and they see us at the register and still ignored us for about 5 minutes! I donât know if itâs better in their earlier hours but the people there late at night have no customer service at all and make you feel very...
