Great service as always today when Dr. Fitzgerald & implant specialists, color & fitting specialists & team finished installing my veneer I managed to yank out a month ago biting a frozen cookie with a rock-hard dark chocolate piece in it! They did the emergency temporary a month ago & today the permanent veneer was replaced & another veneer that my tongue had been messing with a lot was checked out too at my request.

I was so glad that Dr. F knew why that one was behaving strangely after my temporary was out in. He knew he had at one time done a root canal in that one. He worked to smooth out some bottom teeth that seemed to have gotten more crooked in my aging process & effects of cancer meds!

When my husband went to pay what we assumed would be a HUGE additional sum, we found we owed nothing! What we paid at the emergency appointment was IT & that is without dental insurance! (I don’t know what we paid for the emergency job & my husband said he could not remember without looking it up. Okay with me! That was not even a great cookie of my husband’s that I tried & I’d said at the time, “This would taste better frozen” so into the freezer I put it! ALWAYS get a great cleaning from Sejel and it was so nice to see her again & catch up! My old friend Johnny who had moved out of state for a while but moved back, did my last two cleanings and he did a great job too. Very friendly, efficient people at the front office. Did not get to see Dr. Fitzgerald today since he was busy with a patient but since I had a good checkup with nothing needing his attention, I will see him in Dec. I love it that he has photographs on the walls of the front office of his wife, boys & dog so patients can keep up with them too! I have gone to Dr. Fitzgerald ever since he took over Dr. Everett May’s practice in Richardson many years ago and have always received the best of care. My husband says the same! Wow!

This review from the past (1/23/24) never got posted because I could not make it work! I got such excellent cleaning by Ezri who had great patience with me being on walker, needing to ask questions, wanting help with advice, writing down my vitals, for me, etc. but I could not make the posting work! He was fantastic!!!!!! Please tell him I am so sorry to be so late figuring out how to do it!!

Today I had a great cleaning with Whitney whom I had never met although she has been there ten years! She was extremely thorough & great about informing me of every thing she was doing - plus a fun lady ! 1-23-2024 Yikes! I guess I never actually posted this in January , and I just saw Whitney for my cleaning yesterday, 7-25-24! I will post this and get on with yesterday’s great experience with Whitney...

I thought the first time I seen the dentist that he was a dentist that cared. BOY was I wrong. I spent my life working as a nurse never had health insurance yet I did it to help people because that is who I am. You would think someone that obviously has a practice doing as well as this practice is would care that a patient that has a rare condition that caused me to not have permanent teeth and ultimately caused me to have to have my entire upper and lower jaw rebuilt with not just both my hip bone but both of my butt bone as well could catch a break. Twice now he wanted to see me to basically say he wouldn’t be willing to donate his time placing donated implants in for me. He knew I am disabled with zero credit. Yet brings me in to let me know that with all the donated supplies from an implant supplier he actually works with it would still be $40,000 for his time to put them in. I know that time is worth money but how can a man look himself in the mirror and feel good about himself when everything would be donated and he still wants $40,000 for his time to put them in. He also looked at this area on the roof of my mouth and it is a screw from previous surgery coming through so you can imagine the pain it is causing and well I was too scared to see what the price that would be. What happen to Texas. The time where doctors cared about patients and wanted to help. Donated supplies for implants and he couldn’t be bothered to help me. I’ll never get greedy people. Not ever. I wish to God I was a dentist because if I had the skills and someone came to me with a rare disease that is congenital and needed help because they were on a fixed income I’d thank the lord for what I had and give back. No such luck with this dentist. Maybe he is nice and cares for the rest of his patients but if you have Medicare and a rare condition and need someone that would be willing to donate their $40,000 with of time and skill. Don’t bother with Dr. Fitzgerald. I wasted gas and time going there. Literally cried all the way home. I guess dentis don’t care if you have chewed anything in 5 years have to have b12 shots monthly and iv iron monthly. Society isn’t what it use to be. I am hurt and so angry that you have to be wealthy with insurance from a job to get any true help. Thanks for wasting my time and making a good person continue to doubt the dental field. Oh and for just leaving a screw sticking out of the roof...

Because I have antibiotic (tetracycline) stained teeth, 20 years ago my family dentist in California suggested upper veneers and crowns to help solve the problem. He recommended this primarily due to the fact that in the late 80's/early 90's, bleaching treatments were not effective for this type of staining and I had old crowns from a childhood accident on my two front teeth.

My family dentist did a great job and my teeth (while not completely white) were beautiful for many, many years. Eventually, though, the dental work needed to be replaced. And with new bleaching techniques, it is now possible to have lighter teeth!

But after my husband and I relocated to Texas, I had a difficult time finding a good dentist. After a few bad experiences, including replacement crowns that were the wrong shape, wrong size, wrong color and very painful ... I needed to find an expert!

Then I was so blessed to find Dr. Fitzgerald! There are really not enough good things I can say about him, his in-house lab, and entire staff! THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST!

For the first time in my life, I have beautiful white teeth, something I never thought was possible! Ten new, beautiful, natural looking upper crowns and lower teeth color to match. The entire process from start to finish was pain free and everyone went above and beyond to make the experience a pleasant one.

And you know when perfect strangers stop and comment about what a gorgeous smile and beautiful teeth you have, your dentist is a true artist. :)
