Egg N Bird - Plano — Restaurant in Plano

We ordered directly from their website on 6/11/25, 2 sandwiches and 1 dirty fries and we received only 1 sandwich. There was no mention of their crack sauce being spicy, it's very spicy. The chicken was juicy and crispy but lacked flavor. The fries were overwhelmed by the same spicy sauce. We were excited when we arrived at the place since the atmosphere is neat, but we were highly disappointed with what we got. Called the store to obtain a refund on the missing sandwich - will give 1 more star if the refund is processed timely.

edit: 6/14/25 - still no refund, I called yesterday and they said 24-48 hours. It's been over that, but being the weekend, I'll call again on Monday -- it should NOT be that hard to get money back for food that was not received.

Additionally, just look at the past reviews, less than 4 days ago, they only reply to the positive ones and other clients have mentioned they were missing food items. What a disappointment.

6/19/25 - had to call the store again on 6/17, obtained a corporate email to request the refund, which makes no sense as I was told multiple times it was already being processed. I emailed on the same day, on 6/18 I followed up via email to ask for an acknowledgement and they replied with a receipt of refund. Glad this nightmare is over but it shouldn't have...

My family and I come in from out of town and decided to try this place based on severely misleading reviews. As soon we step in, we are in a modern metallic cage, as if we were the chickens about to be trapped. It doesn’t smell good and it looks overpriced already. The cashier who takes our order is awkward and talks like he doesn’t want to be there. We’re unsure really of what we’re ordering, but we get two Big Breakfast Plates with drinks and the total is $27 with change. This is essentially a fast food place. We go to sit outside because it’s more pleasant than sitting inside, and they bring out covered plastic trays, similar to the ones used in hospitals to bring out your food. We ordered to dine in and received plastic cutlery, no lids, no straws, TINY, greasy portions. You’re better off going to McDonalds, honestly. Chicken is not good either. The Chick Fil A across the street is far superior. We are not the type of people to discard food, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat this glorified, Gen Alpha garbage. This location is so incompetent without an excuse. Every single damn time I come to this location theres something wrong or a missing item, and they take SO long which would make sense if there was everything in the order but no.

These people have no reason to be this incompetent, folks at the Chick-fil-A next to y'all are being paid $11/hr and they do better. You guys start at $16/hr, are allowed to get tips, but do worse? You have ZERO excuse. If you hate your job that is on you, but once you clock in, you do what you are being paid to do. Before you hand an order you HAVE to compare the receipt to the bag, you cannot assume everything is in there if you get people telling you everyday theres items missing. When an item is handed to you by the kitchen you ASK if the ingredients listed are in there, then you bag it. And its the job of the person taking the order at a register or at the window to make sure the bagger put everything in there.
