Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Plano

I have been here many times with no issues. Horrible customer service today though from a specific employee named ZELINA.

I paid for coffee and when I mentioned to the employee ZELINA that they were out of vanilla hazelnut, she made a face and said the coffee is still brewing and pot isn’t ready and we had to wait. I saw the pot was ready and decided to wait a few minutes before it could be changed. Jelena got frustrated and she mumbled saying we could have picked another flavor and changed the pots with a loud bang that pushed a couple of items off the coffee counter and didn’t bother to pick it up. She went back to her station. It was a clear display of passive aggressive rude behavior. We went in there at 11:45 am and there wasn’t even a lot of crowd. She simply wanted us to take whatever was available and leave inspite of having paid for coffee. I wanted to try this bagel place while I was visiting my kids. They ordered jimmy johns which was very close in proximity to Einstein's bagels, so that's where I picked to eat. I looked at the online menu and decided to try one of the newer sandwiches. I downloaded the app as was required. I couldn't get the correct location to let me order, so even though I signed up, I wasn't able to get any rewards points for my order. They were very busy taking drive thru orders. One of the gentleman was very nice, the younger gentleman was rushed. Online, if I had been able to place an order, my order was less than $18, but in store I paid $23. The french toast chicken sandwich was OK. Not spectacular, but still good. Selena is the manager and is extremely rude. I asked for cocunut milk and vanilla in my cold brew, however when I received it either where in it so I asked to have her add both. She proceeded to add the vanilla but after she rudely told me that they didn't carry cocumut milk, so I asked for half&half. She got the half&half from her fridge and threw the half&half on the counter and said costumers have to do it themselves. All of this was happening in front of a line of people, it was extremely embarrassing. She made me feel as though it was my fault for not knowing to pour my own however there are no containers of milk out for the costumer to use. I went about eating my breakfast with my granddaughter, after the restaurant cleared out I let her know that she had embarrassed me and she sarcastically said sorry.
