Been hearing good things about them for ever. I’m not going to say their pizza is at the same level as the better NY and New Haven but it’s a close as I have had around here. I really like you can order by the slice. You order at the counter and there is a glass case that has several options to choose from or they can make you one on the spot. The place is in a shopping center next to Tom Thumb. It’s decorated in some NY memorabilia and has seating for 20-30 people. I had a slice of cheese and slice of bolognese pizza with a soda. Total was $14. Cheese slice was quite large while the bolognese slice was your average slice. Both had a great crunch crust with no flop. The cheese was extra thin and had nice under carriage. Flavor was on point for both of them. The bolognese has a different sauce that sets it apart. I would be very happy to have this as my local pizza place. They serve pasta and other dishes as well which I will need to try. As mentioned it’s not at John’s or Joe’s NY level but it’s not far off. Most definitely a worthy contender for best pizza in the Dallas area.

Have enjoyed the broccoli and oil/garlic pasta dish once before so was happy to have that today for lunch. Very disappointing this time. Very little broccoli (see pics) and what there was, is just small bits. Broccoli debris really. First time had real pieces of broccoli, like you'd expect. Also disappointing were the delicious-looking (in the restaurant case) garlic knots. I impulsively added those on for $5 and they were not worth the carbs nor the price. First bite was rubbery, indicating old bread. Tried a different knot, same thing - tough and rubbery (chewy, in a bad way). I ate half the pasta and tried a bite from yet a diff garlic knot and by then the bread was so hard, I couldn't even tear off a bite with my teeth without concerted effort. I dropped the bread in the trash. Unhappy and unlikely to try Ferrari's a third time, even though the location is ideal for me.

Tried this place out and was pleasantly surprised. This is the closest to NY pizza I have found around here. One thing I look for is the crisp of the bottom crust as some places often undercook, but this was great. Seating in booths was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff were courteous. We got a ā€œhouseā€ size pie (22ā€!) and it was great, although I recommend a smaller size for kids because the slices are hard to manage for small hands. My only complaints were that the price for this size and its toppings weren’t listed on the menu behind the counter so I didn’t really know what I was in for with the total price. Also it felt like it was a little light on pepperoni (we ordered half cheese), but look at the pic and decide for yourself. All in all it was great and we will be back to try some of the specialty slices.

I was visiting my parents in the Dallas area and they took me and my son out for pizza one night. Ferrari's was their favorite, they told us.

We got two pies to split. They ordered a custom with pepperoni, sausage, and meatball. I ordered the specialty white pie as specified on the menu. We asked for both to be made well done, as we like a crisper crust on the bottom.

First things first, I wish I could bring this restaurant back home to Cleveland with me. The experience was that good.

Everybody has different tastes about their perfect pizza, but for me, this white pie checked every single box. The crust was crispy but chewy. The pizza was garlicky and cheesey and had the perfect amount of toppings. They use fresh mushrooms and not canned/blanched mushrooms. Sometimes using fresh mushrooms on a pizza makes them come out dry and gross, but these were perfect. And the spinach and large globs of ricotta really pushed it over the top. This pizza was perfection.

The other pizza was amazing as well, but the white pie overshadowed it for me. My parents liked both equally. The one thing I will say about the custom pie, as it was something I noticed and really enjoyed, was that the sauce had great flavor, and the ratio of dough to sauce to cheese/toppings was about as perfect as you can get, in my opinion.

I'm no pizza expert, but today I'm going to pretend that I am. Ferrari's Pizzeria is the best pizza I've had in a long time. It might be the best you've had in a long time too, so try it out!

OHH! and after dinner my son got a cannoli. It was really good. It's hard to mess up a cannoli, but rest assured that they make a very...

Needed a pizza place to go to after. I had driven all the way out to Garland for pizza and the restaurant was closed. Sat in the car for 30 minutes. Looking for a pizza place, and finally just picked one that was close by the house. Decided on this place. Did not really have any expectations. Just wanted to get some food. For my wife and son, I got pepperoni sausage and extra cheese. For my daughter, I got plain cheese. For myself, I got a veggie pizza. The only wow! Factor was the house sized pizza that was an incredible 22 in. The kids were blown away when they pop the top on the pizza. I left it in the trunk deliberately to let my son go and get it, and get a look at his face when he opened it up to find it inside. One of the positives about this place, was I was able to teach my daughter how to reheat the slices using the new wave and then finishing up on the stove to make the crust crispy on the bottom, that way it would taste just like it was when we ordered it. With this style of pizza, during reheating, sometimes the dough will become soggy with your typical reheating styles like the microwave or a new wave or air fryer. She actually ate the entire pie by herself! Typically this does not happen with ordering pizza for her. She ate the 1st half of the pizza the first night, and the other half a...

I wouldn’t have written a review about the stale dry pizza and bread, empty ice machine, broken bathroom latch or disjointed service where my wife didn’t get her sandwich until the other 7 in our party of 8 were finished eating. But when the owner loudly says to my wife ā€œWay to make a sceneā€ for simply asking about her sandwich after everyone else in our party is finished eating, I feel like I should let others know. When I ask him why he is making a scene when all she did was ask for her meal and he tells me this is a counter service place, as if that means they don’t have to care about service or their customer, I need to write a review. I asked him not to talk to my wife that way and he asked me ā€œwhat are you gonna do?ā€ So if I can’t beat up the owner then he can talk to my wife (and you) however he wants. Yeah, when that happens I need to let others know. When he then announces to the restaurant my wife is high maintenance I need to write a review. One look at this ā€œrestaurantā€ will tell you the owner is no authority on ā€œmaintenance.ā€

Don’t waste your time or money on this ā€œrestaurantā€ or its highly sensitive roid-raging owner. Maintenance is low, food quality lower and the service and pride in ownership is embarrassing and...
