LOVE the food at A2B. The portions are not too bad. Wish they provided papad or appadam with the meal. I love their masala buttermilk and order it every time but this time there was just TOO MUCH salt. It’s expensive to just throw it away. Makes me feel sad when I was dumping it. We also ordered idli that was really soft and the chutneys were delicious. Remainder me of Anand Bhavan in Adayar in Chennai. The keerai is the best and my kid asked for more. My husband likes the Avial but my favorite is the vatha kuzumbu. The rasam this time had more salt too. We’ve ordered a few times from here and it was always perfect, sad that the one time I take pictures to put up, they messed up. Would still come back for more though. Will never stop coming here.

Update: From all the vegetarian restaurants in Dallas, A2B was our favorite so we decided to go ahead and order for my sisters wedding. Everyone complimented the food, and the first few days we absolutely had no leftovers. Everyone were telling us how tasty the food was. We ordered for a 4 whole days from the restaurant and not once did they disappoint us. We told them about our concerns and both the owner and manager responded immediately to address them, and made sure they heard us. We made a few last minute changes and they were kind enough to accommodate us. One of the best restaurant foods to eat it. Would recommend for dine in, take out and catering as well.

Definitely will never stop coming here. My parents are who don’t prefer restaurant food, also had highest compliments for the food from here. Their Roti is the softest and their sambar is absolutely finger...

Food is good, service is TERRIBLE, I know today is weekend busy time, but make sure Hire more people to accommodate each individual even in the busy hour, just saying it’s busy weekend is not an excuse. No water on table had to ask server, no spoon had to ask, no checking in how is the food, had to keep looking for server to get attention, served us wrong order and then said sorry it’s some one order came to you and then add on bill while checking out, I told the person in checkout, hey please don’t include in the bill for server’s mistake beacuse we didn’t order for that, it’s some one else order, we could order more while we were there but seems like server is busy accommodating others so we didn’t think of ordering. We ate what came in and checkout, yes we did not give any TIPS because the service was below 0 ratings and server is not sorry or seems serious. I will not return here and this was our first time here because all the other reviews was so good so we thought we will give a try. My feedback- hire more servers, train them on hospitality, give coaching sessions and make customer feel welcome heard seen felt. If you do this, you will have so much of business you could ever imagine. I will leave this review with this quotation from one author Some people are so poor, all they have is money.” ~Patrick Meagher

This quote reflects how people with less may cry from struggle, but those with more often lose themselves in pride, greed, or emptiness. It shows that having “more” doesn’t always mean having...

This place is disappointing every time. And we decided not to go to this place anymore. We were excited to try their ONAM SADHYA but our day was spoiled by their poor service and food.

I have no means to spread negativity towards this place. This is my genuine and true experience today.

We went to eat ONAM special meal. We totally understand it was a busy day, we had to wait roughly around 40mins before food arrived to our table. They served the welcome drink 1st and again they took 15mins to serve the main dish. We only received 27 dishes in total. The quantity was way too less. They served Ice cream with the main dish (eat or drink the Icecream, your choice). No one cared to even check on us for a refill or anything. Whenever the waiters crossed we asked for the rice refill and for the remaining dishes, but nobody returned. They served Kerala matta rice with the main dish, feels like it was lesser in quantity than a kids portion. If we need a refill that rice we need to raise a ticket, the information was not conveyed clearly. We were literally sitting there and waiting for almost 20mins for food to be refilled. By the we were really frustrated and wanted to just leave. Finally a waiter checked on us, and we politely told our concerns. Coz they were working their best and they are not the one to be blamed. The management to note all these and they should have arranged it a lot better. Food taste is less than average.

ONAM SADHYA -21.99$/person not even worth a penny. I would never ever...

I would have to assume that A2B has got 3.5 on its rating so far thanks to extremely lenient people. This review comes after visiting the restaurant 4 times, just to ensure that they’re not being judged based on an “off” day. To start with, service at this restaurant is pitiable. On two different occasions, waiters/waitresses were unaware that the menu even had options such as Kal Dosa or Paneer Kothu Parotta. Instinctively, the first response given was, “It’s not available.” Double-checking proved otherwise. This, of course, is apart from the fact that half the items are hardly ever available - we are now accustomed to hearing “not available” for at least two different items we order. If you manage to get past the abomination of service, steer clear of typical South Indian items such as the Sambar Vada or the Parotta (pictures attached). Sambar has the consistency of slightly thick water with Sambar powder, the Vada is not soaked in the Sambar (merely added to a bowl of sambar just before it’s served), and the Parotta might as well have been purchased frozen from Patel Brothers and heated up. Here’s the saving grace - the food was acceptably hot, and items as simple as Dosas were not messed up. This is not a good restaurant to visit unless standards improve drastically or there’s a huge shortage of restaurants (both of which seem highly unlikely at the moment). An abysmal experience to say the least, and definitely not worth your money.
