Jabbar Bhai Biryani Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Plano

Visited this place yesterday and placed an order at 11:34 and waited in the chaotic pick up area to get the food. After 1 and half hour wait the staff came and said they are out of Briyani and they are happy to refund.

Though I appreciate that they did refund for the items that wasn’t delivered I was very disappointed that it was terribly managed and executed even after opening restaurant at multiple locations and countries.

Though we ordered a lot of items we received only a few after 1 and half hour; now let me share my comments for the items received.

Chicken 65 - it’s juicy inside, and crispy outside to a decent level. Over all taste is a big OK, my OK is because I kinda feel the masala has a little overpowering chilly sauce flavor so it doesn’t taste like the 65 flavor that I am familiar with.

Kuska - Actually we ordered 4 mutton and 3 chicken Briyani and got only COLD Kuska. The Kuska received was cold(red flag), but the color of the rice resembled my friend’s mom’s briyani rice during Ramadan. It doesn’t really have an over powering Briyani smell or taste but it’s does taste good and flavor resembles my Muslim friends home cooked Briyani.

Tandoori Chicken - I have tasted better in Dallas area from other restaurants and it’s a just pass item to me.

Recommendation: The inside of the store has a lot of room to add more tables and chairs. Please stop taking orders beyond the quantity of food that was prepared or you could deliver only within an acceptable customer wait time. Please keep a microphone to call the people to pick up orders if you still have the chaotic crowd that was present on July 4th. Give equal priority of Dine in, TOGO & Online orders. Staffs were at one point doesn’t even know what to say to customers when asking to look into their orders mentioning that we have been waiting for a very long time. I have no recommendation for this point; please do something to avoid this situations at any cost.

Jabbar Bhai:- I noticed you watching the kitchen the whole time via video call. Bhai I am sure you must have also noticed the chaotic crowd and the way the situation was handled. My humble request is pls fix the first day opening problems at the earliest for any future stores.

VERCY VERY DISAPPOINTED with Jabbar Bhai Biriyani Restaurant. The service is very bad. Today, July 4th, 2024 was the opening day, We drove 40 min to locate this restaurant and trying to find parking place with hot weather just to try Jabbar Bhai Biriyani, we were very disappointed. They were not prepared for the huge crowd and not enough table, it can only accommodate 100 people sitting. Every one standing in the line to place the order, they charged our card. After standing for 50 min we placed the order and they said it will take 30 min waiting time. We were standing for 20 min, they come and tell us the biriyani is over and no more, asked us to come back at 5pm. I CANCELED THE ORDER. I cannot come back and more over it was 1.30pm peak lunch time hungry, The staff simply said sorry and apologized but they should have prepared for this huge crowd and had enough food. Total waste of my time and VERY DISAPPOINTED. Debating whether to visit Jabbar Bhai restaurant again. This is my opinion. You decide.

Today June 28th, 2025 at 5.15pm went and bought onion Pokada, they had Pokada in the tray almost empty abd little left, So I asked for fresh, he said inside they have fresh. I ordered 3 Pokada out of 3 two were fresh and one was the leftover that was on the tray. I told them he insist that they were fresh. The food tastes good. But the review is about quantity, service and how people use the fame.

We ordered ambur mutton Briyani. The quantity is very less and only 2-3 small pieces with 60% bone piece. The rice is not cooked properly. The chicken 65 has only 4 pieces (exactly) and it’s not even marinated. It’s just coated outside and no taste inside. We ordered two mutton briyani but we got egg on one only. We didn’t receive brinjal gravy.

The service is not good. We ordered 12 pm and there’s no online or phone order. We need to go and order, wait to get the delivery. We waited more than 1 hour and 45 minutes to get the order. There are many angry customers who waited.

In the fame part, everyone drove more than 20 mins to order here because of jabbar bhai as we believe it’s good. But according to me, it’s another way of cheating using his name and fame.

We understand it’s just started now. But if you are starting a business, you should satisfy the customer and provide value. I feel this business don’t provide both. It’s waste of time, money and efforts to go here.

Another point, there are many fake reviews on here. It’s better if you remove those also. You cannot create a good business on fake reviews. You can chest few people few times. But not all the people in all the times.
