I met with a client today in the shopping center of Mudleaf, we will be doing a renovation to a commercial space in the next few months, It is going to be a meditation, yoga, massage therapy school, She suggested I stop by and check out the decor and get some thing to drink. So glad I did! This is certainly not like any other coffee shop that I have been to. The decor is very well thought out and incredibly stylish. I love how each place has a moment of visual interest, as well as different zones. At the front of the entrance there are hanging chairs with a fun star constellation, Live edge tables and a geometric wall divider. Directly to the right is a space that has a sliding barn door that can be reserved. A quick peek in there shows a spacious table as well as fun artwork. The Conference room can be reserved by the hour. The bar is towards the back of the space and has a reclaimed lumber front, with bar top seating. In the back left is a retail space with all kinds of cute little tchotchkes. There is long tables for working and small top tables as well. There is a faux fireplace and large roomy leather chairs centering the space. The walls are bright white and thoughtful moments of decor throughout. I’m not a coffee fan but I did order a peach tea, had a great flavor and very refreshing. I liked the menu offerings, the cooler next to the register had bento boxes for those who want a quick bite as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and served me very quickly. The restroom was nice, I liked the wood countertop and vessel sink coupled with the clean linear tiles. If you are looking for a quaint spot to visit, please be sure to check out Mudleaf coffee! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Honestly the place is super epic! It has a Bohemian feel to it. The coffee is super good and I am actually craving to go back there again. Yes! I need to add that I purchased the cutest “Love Everybody “ mug there!

THE BEST community coffee shop. Great value drip coffee that you can tell is high quality and I had an amazing latte for 3 dollars on the dot that I gulped down in seconds. The pastries are also amazing, but one that stands out that you can’t buy at any store is the homemade poptart and boy is it delectable. The whole atmosphere of the whole shop is kinda like a forest with these swings all around and a nice flush wooden interior. It’s a great place to study, hang out, or honestly just get a sip of coffee. They also host community events sometimes like one time there was this beautiful woman singing with a guitar and it was whimsical. I come here so often since it’s on the way to UTD and with their rewards every month I get 2 bucks off so the coffee is the GREATEST value. I only have pictures of the food sadly but if you haven’t been here what are you waiting for?

I was looking for Starbucks, which was in the same strip inside the Tom thumbs. But accidentally end up at Mudleaf . It is huge coffee place . My first impression was impressive with lots of casual (sofas) and table/chair settings, decent coffee choices , ok food/snack choices and surprisingly they have lively and bright conference room to reserve $30/hr. But $30 can be used for ordering coffee/snack and leftover $ can go to a gift card (that can be used later). Expectation is if you reserving room than you order from the shop - great concept. At my trip (I had two) talked to Barista and found out that it’s family owned place. I order regular coffee - cheaper than Starbucks and found it better compare to chain. On my second visit I order americano, this was cheaper but ok taste. This is all based on my individual taste bud (so take it as salt grain). I sat on second time around and found atmosphere to be very friendly, staffs were welcoming, customers were in cheerful mood - mostly like Starbucks but definitely lot more space for kiddos to roam around without on each other faces. Overall - I think it’s extremely bold business decision while you have cafe next door plus two/three Starbucks with 2-3 miles radius. Two things either there is lot more demand for places like Starbucks in the area or you found the true differentiator to your competition . Anyways you have a customer that will visit your place rather opting for Starbucks if in the...

I really wanted to love this place but it just wasn't a great experience. (1) Even thought the menu board appears to be easily changed, it said there was Frozen Watermelon Froze but the machine was actually broken so no Froze (2) When asked what kind of beer they had the cashier was clueless and didn't know where the "beer menu' that's usually on the counter was (we had to read the name on the beer tap) (3) the line was about 4 deep before the cashier went and found someone else to help make drinks. We waited longer for a coffee and lemonade that if we'd been waiting for food to be made (4) They started closing down more than an hour before closing time to the point that there were people siting in sections and the rest of the tables had chairs on top of them. For us this was seriously discouraging and (5) The whole place was dirty/dusty and looked pretty run down. Plastic plants on walls and suspended from the ceiling, rattan hanging chairs with broken rattan, and black angled shelf/wall divider that looked like it'd never been cleaned. Also no sign of anyone bussing or wiping down tables and chairs between customers. My coffee was fine and I like the unique blends but the rest of it could use a good cleaning, touch up, and...
