This was the third time I placed an order on the app and this time I sent my father to pick it up for me. Again, for the third time in a row, the owner, Tina Wang, was clueless as usual and said no one placed an order. Her employee was quickly able to step in and find both orders, no surprise there.
The problem arose when items were not available for one of the orders. My dad gave me a call to explain what had happened and that the owner was extremely rude about it and instantly I knew he was talking about Tina based on past experiences I have had with her. Anyway, this other employee tried to help again and was explaining to me on the phone that they haven't had the product I ordered in months and that she can help substitute for something else. That's when the owner snatches my dad's phone out of the employee's hand and instructs the employee not to help us. She then said they are busy and there's orders they need to do and took the employee away, no offer to refund or anything. I had to contact corporate to initiate the refund.
Corporate then proceeded to make the terrible decision to allow her to email me. She sent me the attached unprofessional email where she not only called me a liar, but also threatened to call the police next time because she didn't want to do her job. I don't know about you, but I think the police have better things to do and there's definitely not going to be a next time. You also can't really say someone is trying to make trouble when your own employee, with far better manners, was already helping set things right. All this over a few dollars where a simple solution would have sufficed. Judging by the other poor reviews, her trashy behavior isn't really surprising. I wouldn't even be surprised if she responds to this review just as classlessly.
There's another Jamba just on 5700 Legacy Dr that I highly recommend and is worth the extra 4 minute drive. I suggest you not waste your time at this location and risk a run-in with this Tina character. Her behavior is disgusting, inexcusable, and I'm surprised this company seems to be...
Read moreI came in today for a Mango-A-Go-Go. I’ve ordered this same smoothie regularly at Jamba’s since I was in college 15 years ago. I purchased a smoothie in the drive-through and had to go inside to complain. The smoothie did not taste right AT ALL. I expressed this to the young male staff member and he argued with me that it was made correctly and refused to remake it. After expressing that I just ordered the same smoothie from this location a few days prior, he told me that they changed the mango juice. I asked if it was company wide, he first said yes, then changed his story to its just at this location and the normal mango juice will be back on Monday. I told him that was unacceptable and asked for a refund or a different smoothie that did not contain this artificial poor tasting mango juice. He told me he couldn’t do either. He asked me to email a Hotmail address that was on a whiteboard. I ordered a 15 pack via the app (I frequent Jamba all the time) and once I arrived they had them in drink carriers. I can’t carry 15 drinks without the party pack box. So I asked the sweet guy that was helping me if they had a spare box and he called the manager in which they yelled at him. I then spoke to the manager and requested a refund since I can’t carry 15 drinks in drink carriers and he refused. I have already sent in my complaint to corporate and won’t stop until I am fully refunded. This is not how you handle customers or business. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!
