Thank you Jimmy John’s for hiring such caring and charismatic mangers and employees at your West Plano location. When I transferred to my new bank location, I was not happy that I didn’t have a Subway nearby. Then I noticed that there was a Jimmy John’s about a block away from my location. From the moment I walked through the door, I noticed a huge difference on how you run your sandwich shops. I was blown away by the professionalism and contagious positive energy displayed by the manger, Adonai. He welcomed me and immediately made me feel like I was a part of their family. I was extremely impressed on how he remembered my name on my second visit and each visit thereafter. I also met Lupe, Mohammed and three other associates on my first visit and they too have demonstrated excellent and genuine customer service. Their smiles and caring ways mirror Adonai. This makes all the difference in the world to me. I can honestly say that I don’t even miss Subway anymore! I always look forward to my next visit as soon as I exit their front door. I have shared my experiences and my satisfaction with my colleagues and clients at the bank, and they have received the same level of service and genuine smiles. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this awesome sandwich shop and your awesome team at this location. May 2023 be a prosperous year for this restaurant and the household brand that you represent n our communities. Read moreThis was my experience that happened today at Jimmy Jones, my first and last time. Nothing is exaggerated unfortunately this was 110% what i experienced today. An employee was making sandwiches, on the right of the register his nose was dripping, and he continued to wipe his nose on the top of his glove. I told the guy who was taking my order this is my first time here and I am not comfortable with this guy making my sandwich he continues to wipe his nose on his glove and jacket. his boss asked him to remove his gloves and throw them in the trash". he flung (threw them) on the condiment station. An older Hispanic man picked his contaminated gloves up with a JJ paper and threw them in the trash. One white gentleman was calling me and referring to me as a Karen said this multiple times, " you are acting like a Karen". I said, really? The health dept, will see it differently. You are arguing with me, as you wiped your nose 3x making a sandwich holding a mustard knife, you are not wearing a hairnet or JJ hat to pull your hair back and you have no smock on. His comment was," what would you suggest"? I said,'' remove your gloves, go to the bathroom, take care of your running nose, sanitize your hands, come back out and resume your position. He said, really, I am busy. The argument went on for 12 mins minimum. The manager ( Adonai) was okay with this, clearly. He did not tell the employee to go in the back, nothing, he did not address the employee at all only to tell him to throw his dirty gloves in the trash, and he flung them onto the condiment station. This was my first time coming to Jimmy Jones and will be THE LAST. * Flu season, strep and coronavirus is on high alert* and your employee has No regard for contamination clearly! EVERYTHING IS TRUE AND IS ON CAMERA UNLESS FILM WAS ERASED, WHICH IS LIKELY AND UNFORTUNATE*
I would give a 0 star review if possible. This location has continued to disappoint since we moved here. Tonight after waiting 2 hours for 3 sandwiches to be delivered the person who said she was a manger canceled my order when i called for 3rd time to check on the delivery. She said it was delivered at 730, but it was not. The location is 6 minutes from us. There is currently no one else in our apartment building, just us in our apartment. It was never delivered. After telling me at 739 that the food was being remade and sent asap, I called back at 829 for a.4th time to find out where the order was. She put me on hold for 4 minutes. I called back and she became irate when i asked why it took so long for delivery and began yelling at me that i can't talk to her like a child. I would suggest listening to the call because i never raised my voice much less condescended to her. I said i want a refund after.waiting so long. She said she would cancel the order and hung up on me. This is ridiculous. I tip well and am a good customer. To wait hours for cold sandwiches with no explanation or apologies is just horrible customer service. I will not be ordering Jimmy John's again and will give my business to Jersey...
