Well, as usual, I was hungry for spaghetti and we're headed to a fav but it was under construction. So, we immediately went to Maps and asked for spaghetti restaurants and Joe's Pasta N Pizza and we decided to travel a little further West to our new source of goodness. My oh My!!! We are both thankful AND grateful! Dear Heavenly Father, what a WONDERFUL choice. To begin with, we were served FRESH yeast rolls that would melt in your mouth. I ordered the spaghetti and my husband the caldone. The spaghetti was perfect. The serving is ample, the noodles were cooked fresh and they were cooked to perfection--- not gummy or tough. The sauce was poured over the top, which provides the choice between mixing it all up or just taking a bite from the too, on down. That also was refreshing. There was the correct amount of sauce and it was quite tasty. I selected the meat sauce as my topping and I was NOT disappointed! The side salad was sized nicely and the ingredients were fresh and crispy. My husband was almost purring over his Stromboli caldone! He also ordered a nice sized bowl of minestrone soup which I tasted and it was really nice. He thoroughly enjoyed each item and brought food home, which seldom occurs. The menu is all inclusive. They serve soups, salads, apperteasers, chicken dishes, beef dishes, seafood, subs, pizza, pastas and these are just a few of the menu items. If one or more of your party isn't up for pasta, there are a wide variety of very tasty dishes. I highly recommend this...
Read moreThis has become my go to for pizza. I like that they're open until 10pm. That means I can order it after my shift at my work. Most other places close at 9pm. So I have to get those on my day off. That being said, it is a really good pizza. I always get it the same. Pepperoni with extra Pepperoni, sausage, and tomatoes. It has always been cooked well and taste fantastic. The way I think pizza like this should be, greasy, cheesy, the kind you can fold and when you bite into the toppings get squeezed out and you have to pick them up and eat them by themselves, mmm 🤤. I also get the lasagna sometimes. Because it's easier than baking my own. Not the best but not bad. Lots of cheese which is good. The bread they give with it is okay. Again kinda middle of the road. It's got some seasoning in it. The lasagna also comes with a little salad(not pictured). Which is refreshing. I either get it with ranch or ceasar both are good. The only reason I don't give a 5 start review is because it's not the best I've ever had. It's as good as any other "NY style " pizza place and the lasagna is good but not great. I always get it to go, but it looks cool inside the restaurant. The person at the counter has always been polite and makes sure I have crushed red pepper snd parmesan, even though I don't need them. They are good and convenient. I get it at least...
Read moreMy husband and I have been coming here since we first bought our house in 2017. Funny story, actually. After making the decision to put in an offer, we actually stopped here for dinner since it’s right by our now home. We were incredibly impressed by the atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic tasting food.
Here are the three most important things:
The food. Why you come to a restaurant, right? Each dish has a home cooked flavor to it and they never skimp on the flavor. The rolls are nice and buttery and fresh. The sauces are robust and complex. It’s truly good. We’re big fans of their Spaghetti and their Pizza.
The service. We’ve always been treated with the utmost good service. The owners and managers really care about their guests and it shows. It’s a neighborhood staple!
Price. The pricing is really good for the quality and experience. Definitely won’t break the bank.
They’re known for their pizza and Stromboli especially, so make sure to check that out if that’s your thing.
One last tip to sell you on coming here if you’re still on the fence. I’ve literally witnessed the owner hugging people and saying goodbye to them on their way out. We all love that “family type” experience and treatment, so if you’re partial to that, just know you’ll...
