For anyone that truly loves pho and knows when they use bouillon or are the real deal, let me save you some time hunting the Plano area for THE SPOT. A dependable place with great pho, great service , clean restrooms, and yeah you CAN get that pokestop while you're in the restaurant! This is it. I tried at least 6 different spots before I found this gem. Say you come in, hungover on a football Sunday or college football Saturday - they will put on your game (Unless I'm there and I've already asked for the Ohio State game)! Their bo luc lac is on point & when you take it to go, they wrap it in foil first, separate from the rice, so it doesn't make the rice soggy or spill the delicious sauce all over your damn car! We all know how hard it is to find good service at an asian spot - and let's be real, you'll put up with it if it's good food. They have super friendly service here, the ladies are so nice to my daughter and tbh I don't even have to tell them my order anymore - they just confirm it when we walk in. The other Pho Que Huong on Plano pkwy is not the same, careful not to get...
Read moreWhat happened? This used to be my absolute favorite place to get pho and I’ve been getting it from here for years. The pricing has increased so much and the portions have gone down. I got the curry chicken noodle soup pho and only got 3 pieces of chicken, and the broth WAS NOT the same. The beef noodles had chunky chewy beef. I’m so disappointed this used to be my favorite place to get pho.
I will say that the quality of the food is still good. It’s just not what it used to be and I think it’s overpriced now.
Update: we ordered again and it was MUCH better, the broth was back to how it used to be and they gave me extra carrots (without asking) which I love! So I am pleased and glad they are back to the quality...
Read morePersonally, I enjoyed my meal. I got the Wonton noodle soup. The flavor was pleasing but just a little bland so I added a little bit of soy sauce to give a rich flavor. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. I had better wonton noodle soup so I’m comparing based on that. The pho is average but if you are someone that usually doesn’t eat Vietnamese food often and wanted an American touch this pho would be it. The service is top-notch. Always checking in on us and seeing if everything is ok. The atmosphere I enjoyed. I personally like a quiet and mellow place. I’m not a huge fan of a place that is packed and so heavy talkative. Then again, I went around at 3pm. Overall 4/5. I...
