📍 4152 Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024 im ngl, when we were looking it up on google it looked kinda mid - but we were so proven wrong. my bf rated this place an 8 which is pretty high considering no place is a 10 for him. also they charge $2 extra for beef here. rating everything we ate: 1. papaya salad 9/10 - i love when a papaya salad is sour (idk how to describe it, but lowkey i wanna add taki powder to it) 2. thai fried rice 9/10 - this was so good, no notes, just more of it pls 3. tom kha soup 7/10 - this was good but its very thick compared to ones ive had in the past - im def going to try their tom kha soup next 🤤🤤🤤 #saucythaiandpho #saucysthaipho #planotx #thaifooddfw #momandpopshop #localeats #dfweats #dfwfoodie #papayasalad #thaifriedrice #tomkha #thaifoodlover @iwearnormalclothes @andybodysboy

Such a cute place - how have I missed this? Stopped on my way home from the Plano Trader Joe’s, because I was having a Thai craving. The restaurant is is a typical strip mall location, which means it is not exciting from the outside, but really easy parking. Went inside to order take-out. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming as you walk in, with a fairly small number of nicely appointed tables and a small bar at the back. I was directed back to the bar to place my order, and the server was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered spicy noodles with chicken (Pad Kee Mao). The server explained their heat ratings (1-5, or extra hot, which she told me was like a 10). Since I love really hot spicy food, I ordered the extra hot, even after her warnings. While I waited, I decided to have a glass of wine at the bar, and was happy to find that they had Meiomi Chardonnay by the glass. When I asked for an ice water, I got it in a cute jelly jar with a wedge of lime- so nice! They also had news and sports on the two TVs over the bar. My order came out promptly, and I headed home to enjoy my dinner. The portion was a good size (the serving on the plate in the photo is just half - see the second photo for the full container) and the heat level was perfect (probably more what I would consider a 9 versus a 10- which is really just right for me!). The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the flavor was great. Comfort food at its finest, and leftovers to boot! Saucy’s will now be my go-to place for getting my Spicy Noodles fix, and I look forward to checking out the Vietnamese dishes in the future!

I absolutely love dining at Saucy Thai Restaurant in Plano, TX! I am a regular customer and I can't help but order the Tom Yum seafood soup every time I visit. Let me tell you, the flavor of this soup is absolutely incredible. It's a perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory flavors that will satisfy your taste buds like no other. The combination of fresh seafood and aromatic herbs in the soup creates a burst of flavors that is simply mouthwatering. It's a true delight for seafood lovers!

Now, let me talk about the service at Saucy Thai. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a pleasant dining experience. From the moment you step in, you are greeted with warm smiles and prompt service. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and can provide recommendations if needed. Their professionalism and friendliness add to the overall positive dining experience.

While Saucy Thai is undeniably a fantastic restaurant, I do have one small complaint or room for improvement. The quality and variety of mixed seafood in the Tom Yum soup can vary at times. Sometimes, the seafood is incredibly fresh and abundant, while other times it may be slightly lacking in quantity or variety. This inconsistency can be a bit confusing and disappointing. I believe that maintaining a consistent quality and selection of mixed seafood would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Despite this minor concern, Saucy Thai remains one of my favorite restaurants in Plano. The amazing flavor of the Tom Yum seafood soup, coupled with the exceptional service and friendly staff, make it a must-visit dining destination. I highly recommend giving it a try and indulging in the delightful flavors of...

We ate here for the first time tonight, and I have to tell you that we have very few complaints! We ordered enough food for a couple of days, but sampled a little bit of everything tonight. Thai food needs a delicate hand in its preparation, which this most assuredly did. Everything ordered was perfectly and carefully prepared, and was very appetizing. The Tom Kha Kai was creamy and just beautiful. Spring rolls were golden brown, with a perfectly crispy wrapper and crisp and clean inside--not mushy as is so often the case. The satay was tender and juicy--difficult when the chicken is cut thinly to begin with. The Red Curry was also very, very tasty (only complaint was that it had an inordinate amount of green bell pepper and the portion was a tad small, particularly given the price). Delicious Cucumber Salad and excellent Thai Iced Tea (my favorite treat). Now the sauces. The sauces were really exceptional! The peanut sauce was very distinctive and absolutely yummy! There were dipping sauces with the satay and spring rolls that were so interesting and mouthwatering, you just wanted to drink them! I'm assuming that this unique feature speaks to their name? I don't know, but the sauces were scrumptious! It was difficult to narrow our choices, so we ordered middle of the road with more familiar selections as it was our first time. Now that we know the quality, we will be exploring more items on the menu. It seems as if we can't go wrong! We can't wait to eat here again! This little gem is definitely...
