This one of those places that you might walk past without thinking twice, but once you step inside, youâll find yourself coming back again and again. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel at home. Itâs a simple, no-frills spot, but that just adds to its charm.
The food? Absolutely incredible. I ordered the braised beef noodle soup, and it was hands down one of the best Iâve had outside of Taiwan. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful, the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the handmade noodles had the perfect bite. I also tried the pork belly gua bao, and it was a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and umami. The soft, pillowy bun held together a generous portion of braised pork belly, topped with crushed peanuts and pickled mustard greensâjust like how it should be.
The service was friendly and efficient, even though the place was packed. You can tell this is a family-run business where they genuinely care about the food they serve.

If you're in Dallas and craving authentic Taiwanese flavors, Taipei Station Café is a hidden gem you absolutely can't miss. It's a family-owned small restaurant where everything is made to order, ensuring fresh and flavorful dishes every time. The owner is very friendly, always making you feel welcome.
The standout dish for me is their beef noodles â hands down the best in town. The broth is rich and savory, the texture of the chewy noodles is just perfect plus generous portion of perfectly cooked tender beef.
Another favorite of mine is the Taiwanese chicken roll. The crispy exterior gives way to juicy, flavorful chicken, making each bite incredibly satisfying. It's the perfect balance of crunch and tenderness, and it's always a highlight of my meal.

Pork Belly Bao is very good and near authentic as you can find.
Beef noodle soup is good and well prepared. Well seasoned and the noodles are cooked just right.
The porkchop and rice is huge and full of flavor. The pork is tender and well seasoned. The coating is perfectly crisp but not to crunchy and is the right thickness for a coating.
The pork belly with bamboo over rice is good, could be broiled a little less time to allow the top skin layer to crisp. Their cuts are some times to fatty and not containing much meat.
The overall staff are nice and polite. They are not professional or trained waiters and it shows. Often drinks are not refilled and food to table transfer is an awkward exchange. They are cash only so...
