This was my first Time eating their food while dining in their establishment.
When I walked in there were two servers. I was greeted by the First Lady and told that she would serve my table. She came to bring me a glass of water and that was the last time I saw her.
The second lady came to serve my table for the remaining time I was sat down inside.
To be quite honest, this Second Lady Seem to be more focused on her other tables rather than me.
My experience with the server was rather unpleasant and undesirable. First of all, even though she was not super busy and only had one other table. I sat waiting around for my glass of water to be filled up.
Also, it seemed common courtesies, and manners of expression were Completely void in her. It should be the norm for any person who is in customer service to know proper word such as you’re welcome. Not once did I hear that from her when I expressed my gratitude two times.
Also, the first lady did not say you’re welcome after bringing me the water the first time.
Then there was also the fact she did not check up on my table, asking me if I needed anything. I waited around after finishing my food, and also setting My empty glass off to the side. Maybe for about five minutes I was sitting there waiting for her to come over and give me my check.
I had walked up to the front waiting for her so I could get my check and leave. As I was writing down the tip in total which was above average. She quickly left off into the kitchen.
It should be common practice for any server or waiter to say goodbye to their guest.
Though there are some good things about the restaurant, such as the food, which was absolutely delicious. They seasoned and spiced the garlic beef to perfection. Also, the Tom kha soup was superb.
Lastly, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very welcoming and calming.
I would go back again, and I would recommend the place to somebody if they wanted good Thai food.
My only suggestion is to train your servers and waiters a...
Read moreImpressive service, and delightful flavors, a Taste of Thai is a little more than just a taste of their cultural foods, but a top notch experience.
Coming in the door and being seated as we sifted through the menu of possibilities. Our mouths watered with the dishes we saw around us. As we ordered we reviewed the beverage selection and of course at a Thai restaurant I want to know what drinks are best served with the dish. We chose a Thai beer and enjoyed those thoroughly and they paired nicely with our orders of stir fried spicy noodles.
You have the selection of 1-5 spicy noodles, well I'm not a spicy person and by that I mean Jalapeno and habanero are about as spicy as I go before you'll find my face in an ice bath. I chose a 4 and honestly think I could have stood a 5, but it was a good level of spicy.
Our server who is also the owner has a very kind approach to taking your order and definitely stands behind the menu making sure to let you know that your choice is a GREAT choice, but doesn't oversell it. He really let's you choose for yourself.
Portion sizes were great and we had a little bit left over maybe enough for a small lunch to be paired with a salad to fill you up. We saved room for dessert and chose the Cheesecake Tempura. One of the parties nearby had ordered the same and once we saw it we had to order.
We were not disappointed. Served with a raspberry jelly, I think it was the perfect friend finish to the meal to leave us with wanting a little bit of a nap afterwards.
Absolutely 5/5 stars for a takeout or sit down dine in. I'd recommend sitting down the first time trying. I would certainly eat here again and plan to try to find another excuses to come eat...
Read moreI have been ordering here very frequently for pick up, the food in the beginning was absolutely amazing, delicious and the portions were very big. I have a big family so we liked the portions and quality, I realized one day when I ordered for pickup the portions for the rice and Kua Gai were extremely smaller than usual. I called and told the owner and explained to him that the portions we’re subpar. Of course he apologized but not really any thought of saying It won’t happen next time. I ordered a couple of days later and the same thing happened, again the owner was there in store when I picked up and said nothing, as well I noticed his demeanor had changed compared to the previous times before the call. I had come home and my family said please don’t order here again, I said “maybe they were having a rough day, if something happens again I definitely wont”. I ordered today and the fried rice was with chicken, the chicken was not fully cooked it was gummy and chewy.
Again I am extremely upset with how I’ve been treated as a loyal customer who orders approximately once a week, as well with the amount of money I have left here (usually about 70-86 dollars). I will not be coming here ever again nor will I order food from here again. As well as my recommendations there will be none.
It really is sad when a restaurant opens and they are extremely good in the beginning and then it starts...
