One word… Fantastic! We’ve been wanting to try this place for some time. We booked our table online on a Wednesday night. When our table was ready, we received a text message notification. The hostess guided us to our table and told us to use our phones to scan a barcode on the table to view the menu. The menu has a great mix of food options for everyone. They have meat items, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options to choose from. We had both a server and a trainee on this visit, both were very friendly and welcoming. After placing our order, the trainer-server repeated our order and asked my spouse if he wanted to add protein to his bowl. He was very knowledgeable about what items were in each dish and told us we both made a great selection from the menu. We both ordered the butternut squash soup for our starter. I also ordered the Ancient grains bowl for my entree, and my spouse ordered the Korean noodle bowl. As we waited for our starters, we enjoyed our surroundings. The restaurant was very clean and has a modern, casual, laid-back feel throughout. It’s not an upscale restaurant, and you don’t have to worry about pulling out your cocktail dresses and neck ties to eat here. The servers wore T-shirts and slacks, and the back of the house staff wore collard long sleeve shirts and slacks. This is not the kind of place you show up wearing your yoga gear, however, some nice casual clothes will be just fine. Our butternut squash soup arrived piping hot. It was very delicious and the serving size was perfect. Next, our entrees came out. The presentation of our dishes was fantastic. Again, portion sizes were right on point. The ancient grains bowl was amazing. I cannot say enough about it. The sweet potatoes were to die for, and the pesto added the perfect pairing with the grains and grilled portobello mushrooms. My spouse said his Korean noodle bowl was delicious. He said his chicken was tender and he really enjoyed it. We were both pretty satisfied after our meals, so we opted to skip dessert this time. We will definitely try a dessert on our next visit. Service here is fantastic, our server came to check up on us at the perfect times. At the end of our meal our server thanked us for coming and directed us to the barcode on our table. After scanning the barcode our check came up, we entered our payment info and were able to leave a tip. This was very convenient. If you are looking for a healthy and satisfying meal with great service, I highly recommend you try True Food Kitchen. We will definitely come back again.

True Food Kitchen is a health-conscious restaurant chain that serves up fresh, flavorful dishes made with high-quality ingredients. The menu features a variety of options, including salads, bowls, pizzas, and sandwiches. I recently visited the True Food Kitchen location in Legacy West and was impressed with the food and service. I started my meal with the Sonoran Bowl, which is a hearty bowl of quinoa, black beans, corn, avocado, salsa fresca, and grilled chicken. The bowl was packed with flavor and was the perfect size for lunch. I also tried the Harrisa Chicken Pizza, which is a thin-crust pizza topped with harissa-marinated chicken, roasted vegetables, and a creamy sauce. The pizza was flavorful and the crust was perfectly crispy. Overall, I had a great experience at True Food Kitchen. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend True Food Kitchen to anyone looking for a healthy and flavorful meal. Here are some additional details about my experience: The Sonoran Bowl was a great choice for lunch. It was filling and satisfying, and the flavors were all well-balanced. The Harrisa Chicken Pizza was also delicious. The harissa marinade gave the chicken a lot of flavor, and the roasted vegetables added a nice touch of sweetness. The service at True Food Kitchen was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere at True Food Kitchen is very inviting. The restaurant is bright and airy, and the decor is modern and stylish. I would definitely recommend True Food Kitchen to anyone looking for a healthy and flavorful meal. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting.

I must give a shout out to Chef Jeremy and Cassi Cowan(Manager)at True Food Kitchen Legacy West location. I’ve been going to True Food since they opened in the Biltmore in Phoenix, AZ over a decade ago. They always have delicious healthy food and you leave feeling satisfied. Since I’m on an electric plant based diet my list of foods I can eat is small. After calling numerous restaurants with no viable options, I decided to call True Food. Cassi picks up the phone and I tell her I have limitations. She comes up with lots of ideas but there’s one or two ingredients I’m unable to eat. Finally she says, email me your food list and the chef will come up with something that you’ll enjoy. I said great I’ll see you within the hour. I arrive and they have printed a special menu with 3 courses with my name on it. WHAT?!? Everything was so good. I was amazed that each item was specially made by Chef Jeremy. He even told me to email him my list and he’ll create personalized recipes for me to make at home because he loves a challenge. All were very delicious. I’m so blessed to find a place that make this fun. I love the challenge too. Making good food with what’s allowed makes things interesting and exciting. True Food is amazing!!!

As a devoted vegan, TFK has been my trusted go-to for both dine-in and takeout ever since I relocated to Dallas. However, my recent first visit to the Legacy West location took my dining experience to a whole new level, leaving me in awe and my taste buds in a state of pure bliss. From start to finish, everything, from the exceptional customer service to the remarkable food and management, was nothing short of phenomenal.

Let me begin by praising our server, Ryan, who made our evening truly unforgettable. Ryan's infectious joy and genuine passion for the menu made us feel incredibly lucky to have him as our server. As a party of two with both vegan and meat-eating preferences, we were amazed by Ryan's extensive knowledge of both vegan and non-vegan dishes. He had personally tried everything on the menu, allowing him to provide personalized recommendations tailored to our individual tastes. Throughout the evening, Ryan's attentive and friendly demeanor made us feel like cherished friends rather than just customers. We never felt unnoticed or forgotten, as he checked on us regularly, always wearing a smile and radiating positivity. Ryan truly elevated our dining experience and we are grateful for his outstanding service.

But the exceptional service didn't stop there. We had the pleasure of meeting the GM, Bruno, who impressed us with his passion for TFK and in-depth knowledge about the preparation of the dishes. We learned that all dishes are made in-house and are non-GMO ingredients. In our brief interaction, I learned from observation, Bruno is truly doing what he loves. As a seasoned HR professional who has served the Restaurant industry, that is very rare. Bruno's expertise was evident as he graciously selected our dessert options as a delightful surprise that we enjoyed. And what a surprise it was! The vegan marcona almond-date crust, topped with heavenly coconut whipped cream, and adorned with a delightful blend of blueberries and mango, was a revelation. Prior to Bruno's presentation, I had never considered this option, and I cannot express how grateful I am for him introducing me to this dessert. The soft and chewy texture of the date crust, combined with the perfect sweetness, made each bite feel like a sublime moment frozen in time. We then indulged in the vegan vanilla ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. The guilt-free pleasure of the vanilla bean ice cream magically complemented the flavors of the mango tart, a strategic choice that showcased the expertise of Bruno and the chef. I must extend my heartfelt appreciation to the chef for their culinary brilliance.

I am already counting down the days until my next visit to TFK. The Legacy West location exceeded all my expectations, leaving me with a profound appreciation for the exceptional service, delectable vegan options, and the warm atmosphere. To the team at TFK, thank you for creating an experience that truly touched my heart and...

Where does one begin with their most favorite place to go ever? We have lived in the DFW for 5 months now, and there is a million places to eat here, but we come here because looking up organic or healthy option near us and this was top of the list, and a place it well deserves on all list, right there on the tippy top! The atmosphere is so fresh, clean, and inviting! We are seniors citizens by heart and love to go to dinner at like 5:30 which works out so well with their happy hour pricing on drinks and food specials that end at 6:00... except on Mondays!! And Monday’s you get 1/2 off all bottles of wine all day, which reminds me I have to get there on a stinkin Monday!!!!! The best, and I do mean the best wine in the entire world is also located in this restaurant, so weather you land on magical Monday’s or not try the long meadow ranch farmstead Cab, and you are very welcome for that bit of life changing information. Now on to the service, I don’t know what the training is like here or how they find the most wonderful staff, but good service goes a long way with us and every time we have the most knowledgeable servers on menu items, very attentive but not weirdly attentive either. James has always been our favorite and if I ever opened a restaurant (which I never plan to) but if I did, I’d try to steal all their wait staff. We never ever have to wait long for our food to come out, and no matter what we order it’s always beyond amazing! Love the seasonal menu changes, the fact that I’m gluten free and dairy free is such a pain almost anywhere but not here, nope! This place was made for super modified orders like myself usually. They already make sure their stuff is clean foods, easy to swap out anything for a gluten free option, and no dairy on nothing 😎 so out of the million of restaurants in North Dallas, this place is my jam. Our date night every time, my vote every time for girls night, and whoever else I can drag with me to go, it’s always you True Foods,...
