I was at the Plano location on Sunday 9/20 and was very dissatisfied with my experience. Multiple waitresses did not wear masks properly. There was an African-American waitress with a frizzy/teal & black pony tail who wore it under her nose the entire time we were there. Another lady in a cowboys shirt wore her mask on her neck for most of the time. The Bar staff wore it in a variety of positions- mostly incorrect. The manager did not wear a mask at all. I have to wonder - if the front of the house treats customer health and safety with such contempt - what is it like in the kitchen? Our waitress did wear a mask (a Hispanic lady) but the service was horrible. After asking for a few minutes to review the menu, it took over 20 minutes for her to return and we had to specifically flag her down once we saw her again. Requests for silverware and napkins went unheeded, I had to go into the waitress area and get them myself, not that any of the waitresses cared (or offered to help). After the food got here the cauliflower was done poorly - the parmesan -garlic was on the side for some reason and the cauliflower was bland and tasteless. The waitress did not show up again for almost 45 minutes to finally give us a check. It was not that busy and there was staff there. Although the staff were attentive enough trying to sell us a raffle ticket- if only they were as interested in refilling drinks or checking on our food. And to answer the question of why we did not ask for the manager - let me remind you that he did not care enough about his patrons to even wear a mask. That is why we did not engage him - as well as the only time he was on the floor was when he was doing the raffle. When Wing Daddy's first opened the food was great; the service was spot on, and the experience was good, but things have degraded significantly. The staff showed considerable disrespect in not caring about us in any appreciable way. The food was wrong, masks were not worn, we had to get our own napkins/cutlery, the waitress was MIA for most of the time, why should I return to...
Read moreIt’s unfortunate how when I visited my first location in San Antoino Wing Daddy’s had the some great food and staff members. Visiting the Plano, Tx location the worse. Last night we ordered Cajun wings cooked hard naked and unfortunately that was not what we received. It was like they been sitting cause they were soggy sauced and a bottle of Cajun seasoning dumped of the them. Just like whoever was cooking just didn’t care. Also Tenders and waffles which was on the darker side and bland no flavor at all and very dry. The French Fries was the only thing hot which was supposed to be Cajun was just frozen fries out of grease. Nothing was seasoned. The more unfortunate thing was $2.83 plus tax for an extra chicken strip which is ridiculous. Unusual somebody eats it or it’s fed to the dogs but that was just hot and I felt can’t let restaurants think their food is good cause no food returns or reviews. The name on the receipt is Alora but whoever did the return had an attitude cause I was returning and wanted a refund. She looked at the food and had the nerve to ask what was wrong with the food. I was so done like this shit it soggy y’all shorted me some wings and it was battered not naked just all messed up. I don’t think I will visit the Plano location again or not on the evening shift. And the ranch and blue cheese sauce was so watery which is crazy work cause it was $1.00 each. Wing Daddy’s really deserves no stars but 1 star is the only option available. Unfortunate response from general managers are give them your contact info and they get back with you which what needs to be don’t is these “managers” and staff members need to understand how important reviews and customer feedback is. Word of mouth can destroy a business and some businesses can not come back from it. $40.00 for food...
Read moreOMG!! After reading the reviews about this place on 6/16/17, I decided to try it out and take a couple of guests with me. First, we ordered our drinks (margaritas), they were the happy hour $3 drinks so I really wasn't expecting them to be the best, one drink was sent back and replaced with a $10 margarita, needless to say it was sent back also (the manager had no problem taking that drink back as well and took them off I the meal ticket. Overall drinks were not good. Second, I ordered the sampler platter plate, honey mustard hot wings bone in, lemonpepper boneless chicken bites, fried pickles and cheese sticks. The chicken bites came back with the honey mustard hot sauce and the bone in came back with garlic parmesan. That's not what I ordered but the waitress was very kind to have it corrected. The corrected order was right, HOWEVER, the chicken bites were very dark and taste as though the fryer grease needed to be changed and there was no lemon pepper taste to it at all. Grease had settled to the bottom of the basket I could've filled a shot glass with it. My guess ordered half slab baby back ribs and fries. Why did them ribs come to the table looking very delicious, NOT!! It was fully cooked which was fine BUT refrigerator cold! This plate was sent back and the manager put the ribs back on the grill but because he didn't come back to the table to apologize, my guest sent them back. I paid for my $3 drink and the sampler platter which still had most of the chicken left and we left. The waitress was very pleasant and I still left her a tip. NEVER I GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! I do want a refund...
