Updated 3/8* See below my initial review, I have updated because they actually reached out to me and accommodated me based on my first experience. I was able to try the food, the staff was friendly and I really enjoyed the pizza, especially the hot honey pepperoni! Connor reached out to me and apologized for my experience & I was very appreciative no one actually has done something when I had a bad experience so it meant a lot, I would return again!
I didn’t get a chance to try the food. I came in Valentine’s Day night by myself. It was kind of busy which I expected. It seemed to be one guy working the whole restaurant from what I could tell. So I’m not going to put this bad experience all on him. When I walked in he asked me if I was dining in I said yes, then he walked away and started doing other things for other tables and never returned. There were people behind me who just sat at tables without being seated. It was my first time ever coming, he didn’t tell me sit anywhere or what I should do so I kind of stood there for a moment then I sat at the bar. About 5-7 minutes pass nobody has given me a menu, acknowledged me, nothing. I noticed a menu near the entrance so I just picked it up and waited to til someone came by to put in an order. Pretty sure he saw me, another couple sat near me and about 3-5 minutes after they sat down he asked them if they wanted a menu. I was near them he didn’t ask if I needed anything… After a while of sitting there without being acknowledged I left. The only reason I’m putting 2 stars is because it looked like he was alone, and I understand that could be a lot for one person, but wow not even one time did he approach me or say anything after asking if I’m dining in. I was really excited to try the...
Read moreI so rarely write reviews unless Especially bad ones. The only time I really feel like going out of my way is when I’ve had such a wonderful experience I want to make sure the establishment’s owners or managers know. Usually if things are bad I just take the loss, that’s what I get for not cooking at home. But my food last night was so disappointing and for the price I feel like I have to say something. I spent $50+ on two pizzas. One small, one big. The large was a margarita, but really was just bread and sauce. There were literally 2 pieces of basil on the entire large. I had to add more of my own from the fridge when I got home. And my small pizza was so covered in hot peppers it’s like they were trying to poison me. Yes I asked for hot peppers but I never imagined each side would have an ENTIRE large hot pepper on it. After trying one slice and realizing there was no way I could taste anything but fire I opted to take them off and cut up a few and sprinkle them around. Like it should have been in the first place. In the photos you can see that even with taking off 90% of the peppers there are still plenty in there. And with the margarita the slices you see with basil is the basil I added myself. The one slice without is how the entire pizza looked. Almost $30 for one large pizza of dough and sauce… Anyways, I know Anthony’s can make good pizza because of others recommendations, so maybe I just got the cook on an off day. Still, it’s upsetting because I could have gone down the street and gotten better pizza for half the price. And I came here thinking it was going to be a...
Read moreI cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional experience I had at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Plantation, thanks to Adiel and his incredible team members, Conner and Christen.
From the moment we spoke on the phone Adiel's professionalism and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our catering order was immediately addresses as we had issues with another location and their systems in place. He took ownership tight away and not only went above and beyond on the phone but he made sure everything was on point the time of pick up.
The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The coal-fired pizza was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors and a crispy crust that left me craving more. Not to mention, the other menu items we tried were equally fantastic.
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the team's exceptional mindset when it came to problem-solving and de-escalating any issues. Adiel, Conner, and Christen went above and beyond to ensure that any concerns we had were promptly addressed with grace and efficiency. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly remarkable and made our visit unforgettable.
