Chill-N Ice Cream Plantation — Restaurant in Plantation

My tongue literally dances with this ice cream seamlessly. It’s truly a magical experience how the ice cream is made! 🪄 I ordered basic vegan vanilla made of coconut milk so I’d have a good comparison reference and wouldn’t be overwhelmed by the flavor options which are customizable and many. Super cool that the ice cream is made to order! Super fresh and worth the wait! I have never had this experience with ice cream and it’s challenging to describe because it was more of a sensation to experience with the wonderment of the nifty scientific table setup and lab innovation vibe. The closest thing that comes to mind is the difference between basic sparkling water and San Pelligrino or Perrier Maisskn sparkling water. The carbonation type in San Pelligrino and Perrier Maiison is a super smooth experience. That’s how this icecream is is…. Super smooth.

It would be super cool if on Halloween the shop hired mad scientist actors to act as if they were concocting new flavor inventions. The only thing I’d like to change is the sugar content of my ice cream. I forgot to ask if it’s possible to order a half sweet option. Cool that the spoons are biodegradable 🥄 ♻️

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

First off, I waited 45 minutes in store for my order that I ordered online and waited 20 minutes before leaving my home to pick it up. After waiting 45 minutes she finally said they’re making my order and didn’t even know what my order was nor how many ice creams were in my order. The lady that runs the counter with the glasses and braids is so freaking rude. All I did was walk in and say I’m picking up. I can not express the irritation and aggravation coming from her voice when she was speaking to me. If you don’t like your job that’s on you. Don’t be rude to customers. People were coming in and they were legit refusing service to customers that have been waiting in line for 20+ minutes and including the people that were coming in. I can not stress enough how there was literally no one in the store. Some people even said they drove 20+ minutes just to come get ice cream from this location. I am no longer coming to this location I will go somewhere else. That treatment from the first person you see (the face of the store) should not be disrespectful at all. My husband and I loved this place when they opened and we’ve pretty much been coming every Friday night. However, we have noticed that the quality of the ice cream and the way they prepare it has decreased in the past few months…

A few weekends ago, my husband got his regular order that includes hot fudge mixed in with the ice cream, and I got my regular order. It was around 9pm and the place was empty. We got the ice creams very fast, but the quality was terrible. My husband’s ice cream was missing the hot fudge and as a “solution”, the person poured the smallest amount of hot fudge on top, definitely not worth what we paid for. Also, the toppings were not mixed in properly and there were big chunks inside. Again, the place was empty, so I would have appreciated it if they took a bit longer making them but actually getting them right.

A few weeks later, we went back and it was even worse. Several of their employees had their hair down while working, which I personally find very unprofessional. And of course, they got our order completely wrong again. It looks like the employees don’t care so we...
