I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Casita Andina, a hidden gem in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Our server, Estephanie, took the time to explain the dishes and specials. For appetizers, we had the Ceviche, a traditional Peruvian dish. The flavors were bright, and one of the best Ceviches I have eaten in my life. For the main course, I opted for the Lomo Saltado, a stir-fry of beef, onions, tomatoes, and fries, all served over a bed of rice. The beef was perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender, and the blend of savory, tangy, and spicy flavors was mouthwatering. The Sauce was delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. We finished off the meal with a classic Torta de pan con Arequipe for dessert, a sweet treat!! It was the perfect end to an already amazing meal.

When I order "Pollo a la Brasa" the lady told me I need to get this to go, then she asked in the kitchen, so she came back and told me I can eat inside, but I cannot sitting down in a regular table bacause if some other people probably come to eat too. I was extremely confused. I was thinking in seconds: "So who I am then? Because I am a costumer".
I left and I will never come back. COSTUMER SERVICE have 0. and she don't notice I am an artist who work in tv and I just stop by to have a quick lunch.

Read moreHubby and I decided to try this restaurant after reading some of the rave reviews. We purchased 1 Ceviche Mixto , 1 Jalea Andina, and 1 Arroz Chaufa de mariscos. We consider ourselves foodies and enjoy traveling and trying good food. This restaurant was not it. The ceviche was just so, so. The fish was cut in big chunks that were just too big for my preference. The jalea was just ok. The pieces of fish were too small and too crunchy, and the calamari was cut in huge slices. It was hard to eat. Finally, the arroz chaufa de mariscos was underwhelming. It didn't have any flavor, the seafood was rubbery, again, the calamari was sliced way too big. We were so disappointed. I wish I could have gotten my money back, but we had gotten takeout, and I didn't want to drive all the way back to the restaurant. Needles to say, we will never go to this...
