From the second you walk into Asian Buffet and Grill you are greeted with a very Asian vibe. From the lanterns hanging from the ceiling to the Asian sculptures mounted all around. Overall, I was very impressed by the ambiance that was conveyed (and maintained throughout my experience).
Once seated a waiter promptly came to our table of 6 and had a very good attitude and good charisma. He asked for our drinks and then we were all off to the buffet circle.
Initially, I was quite impressed by the variety of food there was, especially for the price I paid ($6.99 on Mondays for people over 9 years of age). Once I picked out a few things that I found appetizing, I sat back down at my table. I was relatively satisfied by the tastes of the different foods... Even though some of the chicken varieties were a little tough and some of the food I ate was lukewarm at best (most likely due to sitting under a heat light for a while), but overall you really can't complain too much, especially when considering the $6.99 price point.
Some of the staff responsible for replenishing the food in the buffet circle had little knowledge about the food, though. I asked one of the workers what a food item was (due to it not having a readable label) and he said, "I don't know" and swiftly walked away... That was honestly the only time I was a bit disappointed at this buffet (besides some of the foods temperatures and textures, like I mentioned earlier).
On the other hand, my waiter even offered to take a picture (with my phone) of my table because he saw us struggling trying to take a picture as a group. He was a very polite gentlemen that constantly checked up on our table.
In a nutshell, if you want a great value for your money, you can't beat this buffet. They offer all you can eat lunch for an ultra-low price of $6.99 (plus $1.50 for fountain drinks) and even had a pretty extensive desert table, too. Not to mention, the promptness of the staff and the pretty decent tasting food, you almost can't go wrong giving this place at...
Read moreI usually don’t leave with reviews in a lot of places, But I feel like this place needs some review from me because all the other reviews especially the bad ones are very exaggerated. So me and three of my friends we’re all teenagers walk in and immediately get seated by a gentleman. Afterwards, we immediately get a waitress who asks us about the drinks which tell her we want only one drinks thinking the prices are high, But she ends up getting us 4 anyways, because of language barrier. So we tell her we only need one since it’s too expensive but she tells us it’s only $1.90 smth dollars. So yeah then, we go straight to eating. SOME FOOD ARE BETTER THEN OTHERS. PLS TAKE A LITTLE BIT FIRST TO TRY. It’s a buffet so we can go there unlimited times and get food so people who say the food taste bad, Should’ve just tried a little bit first. I didn’t like something, but my friend did and vice versa. The honey chicken was amazing orange chicken not so much. Coconut shrimp was amazing fried shrimp not so much. Desert was okay ice cream and coconut macaroon was good. Bt I didn’t have much space after eating them food. If you leave your plate on the table and it’s mostly empty, the waitress will get it 100%. So I recommend if you can just use the same plate. We each used 2 plates (desert/main food). This was also less work for our waitress. LASTYLY, we pay and there’s $2 change so we tell her to keep it. She takes it with a smile, no taunting no nth. Even after paying we stayed there a while and none told us anything. Overall for 13.99 (dinner) this wasn’t bad at all. Some reviews are just exaggerated. Overall 4/5 or 8/10. Would def come again. [THEY ALSO HAVE WASTING FOOD= YOU PAY...
Read moreSo for the food you get the prices seem pretty fair. My favorite options were their lo mein and coconut shrimp. Their sushi is okay, but nothing wow amazing, the pictures they advertise of sushi, are rolls they don’t even carry which was a little disappointing but again for the price the sushi seemed fair. The real problem for me was the waitress, which is why I ranked so low. She didn’t come around much to fill up our drinks and just after finishing the first plate she offered the bill, we told her no. She did the same after the second and third. At one point she just walked by, set it down, and left. Okay when we finally decided to pay we gave her a 50 and told her to only break it to a 20, 10s, and 5s (we were going to pay with card and leave her a cash tip) She comes back and already took the bill out of the 50. I specially told her the change we wanted, if she couldn’t do change that would’ve been more than fine, she could’ve just said so. Once I count it she asks if something was wrong and I told her it wasn’t the change we expected. She laughs and just starts immediately cleaning the table while we’re still sitting there, didn’t even let us leave first and it’s not like they were packed and needed it or even were close to closing, she just wanted us gone. If we return I just hope we don’t get that server, she soured the...
