Well, I must say my first experience and it was awesome. That atmosphere is great. The store is nice. The people are nice now letâs get down to the bread. Never have I ever had something this awesome in my life is so good and I stored it for the next day and warmed it up just a bit in the microwave. It doesnât take much to heat up and it was just as great as the day I bought it. I actually waited a couple days and then I ate it and it was still great. The girl that helped me at the counter, she explained to me how it goes. She was very thorough. I shouldâve gotten her name when you go into the store. Itâs like walking in the cauldron. Itâs nice. The bread was so freaking good. I will be back. I will be a regular. Thank you for your blessed hands and making these awesome breads, Iâm gonna try the empanadas as well. Thereâs a variety of things to eat. Itâs not just bread and also you can choose what happens you want. I came home. I shared it with my family and they were in awe thank you Wicked bread company youâre the best. No more cinnamon rolls for me. Just homemade cinnamon bread with any toppings that I want. Itâs always great. Going to an establishment that makes stuff from the heart and this is exactly that. I couldnât take pictures because well I ate the bread but next time I purchase, I definitely will before I indulge of course I will be back today the bread that I got I think itâs called. Smack my ass and call me Cinnday iâm pretty sure thatâs not the correct spelling. I will update my review once I get the correct name, but itâs something to...
Read moreI've only been here a handful of times, but what you need to know about Wicked Bread Co. is that this is not your run of the mill eatery. It's not mass-produced and so by nature they will have a limited variety of product day to day that may run out faster on busier days.
That being said, it's so worth it if you can go early. My partner was skeptical about how feral I was about a random bakery I found online, but I knew after reading about it online that I HAD to go. We get there and the decor alone is an attraction. I love books and old movies and Halloween, so just getting to go for the novelty was nice, and that's most of what I expected from this. This was a little later in the day, so I got a coffee and placed an order for the classic bread. We had a small wait while the LAST batch was in the oven.
But y'all, the smell. The taste. There's been a bad string of cutesy eateries in the last few years with hard gimmicks and mediocre food. Wicked Bread Co. is not that place. Even my partner was like "Nevermind, I get it." The breads are baked in personal little aluminum dishes and you can customize your toppings. I've only gotten the classic because it's just so perfect, I don't really want it to have to share the spotlight. This is a great gift if you're visiting someone, if you want a nice date, or if you just want to enjoy some home-y baked goodness. The empanadas are quite good as well if you want a savory snack before loading up with sweets. 10/10 I live 30 minutes north but any time I go in the area I will be...
Read moreIt was a gloomy Sunday morning, and the air in Plantation carried a strange and irresistible aromaâcinnamon, butter, and maybe just a hint of mischief. Like Hansel and Gretel with GPS, my wife and I followed the scent straight into a storybook dreamscape known as Wicked Bread.
this witchâs lair meets Tim Burton dreamscape where The walls hum with flickers of Beetlejuice, the sass of Wednesday Addams, and that perfectly off-kilter blend of cozy and creepy, was everything weâre hoping for and more!.
I swear on my cinnamon roll: they were playing Amadeus, then suddenly the Macarena, then Jamiroquai. It was like someone handed Beetlejuice the aux cord and let him DJ a haunted brunch. Campy, unhinged, delightfulâabsolutely perfect.
Through the enchanted glass emerged Sydney and Carolina! Followed by bats and lightning. smiling like they knew exactly what kind of enchantment weâd fallen into. They served us warm, gooey cinnamon rolls, flaky empanadas, and coffee so rich it could wake me after lancing my finger on a cursed spindle.
Each bite felt like a spell cast in brown sugar and butter. My mind spinning, that coffee hitting! Tis was Witchcraft!
Wicked Bread isnât just a bakery. Itâs a portal. A Sunday sĂ©ance of sweetness and strange joy. We went in hungry. We left enchanted.
I will return with my coven and will eat as many empanadas as I have knots in my witches ladder! All in...
