After having dined at most of the Thai restaurants in Broward County some friends recently recommended the Emerald Thai to us. We were greeted by one of the owners Hong who couldn't have been any more hospitable!

The outside of the restaurant is deceiving since its in a long strip mall off State Road 84. The inside was immaculate and tastefully decorated in the Thai tradition. After taking our order we were served with drinks. The thai beer I ordered was ice cold and served in a frosted glass. Hong informed us that he and his wife had taken ownership ten months ago from the previous owner. They not only own the restaurant but work there 6 days a week.

When the food was brought out we were surprised on how large the portions were! The presentation was right out of a culinary magazine! The Pad Thai was quite possibly the best we have ever had in all of our years of dining! Needless to say this is one of the best dining experiences eating Thai food we have ever had! Finally ordered food from Emerald Thai and kicking myself for waiting so long. .

First: they. Actually make food to order . We had pick up time and arrived early. They apologized but food would be ready for pick up time… and it was!

Nam Sod Chicken….off the charts delicious. Fresh, spicy, nice citrus, toasted peanuts…. Atop fresh, crisp lettuce . Really great for dinner and cold for breakfast this morning.

Pad zkes Mao - drunken noodle. I didn’t eat but my husband lived and devoured all of it!

Pineapple fried rice was on point. I don’t believe it was fresh pineapple, hiwever the rice was cooked perfectly, tasty large shrimp. .

Eggplant Basil with tofu. Asked for hot, but wasn’t off the charts spicy. Great flavor. Nect time will omit green beans, as not my cup of tea.

Super place. Excellent service, the gentleman at desk carried my food out for me and offered Thai tea. Lively touch. Will be my new go to for Thai food!...
