Oh boy. One of my coworkers was kind enough to buy us $10 Dunkin' gift cards. 5 of us decided to get some coffee/food on 7/8/22. Two of them places their orders online. I entered the store and stood in line after one group of 4 people in front of me. I noticed at least 6 employees working. I had cash and gift cards in my hand. Not one person acknowledged me for at least 2 minutes. Even then, it wasn't to actually help me or even let me know someone would help me shortly (again, at least 6 employees and two open registers). After waiting a while longer and placing our orders, I went to the pick up area and grabbed the online orders. The food was already cold for one order. The other order didn't have the donuts that had been ordered with the coffee. I had to finally flag someone down and ask about the donuts. I was told they were out of both kinds, there was nothing noting that at the pickup area and she was still charged for them. I was told she would have to call corporate and then she would be refunded the amount back to her gift card. After the other drinks were brought over, I stood there with 4 drinks and 3 bags of food. I kept trying to get someone's attention to maybe get a drink carrier. When I was finally able to flag someone down, they acted like it was an inconvenience and like they were shocked I would need one. Once I got back to work, I had to explain to my coworker that didn't receive her donuts what she would have to do to get her money back. She called the store to get the number for corporate that she was told to call, they didn't even have it. The only reason they are getting a 2 star is because my bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant was delicious. However, that sandwich was not good enough to make up for the "the customer standing in front of you is an inconvenience" service. I didn't use my entire gift card and gave it to someone else because I won't...
Read moreI placed an order on the app for Platteville location and it had the option to walk in to pick up my order. I did this since I knew drive through was always so busy. I get there and they had a sign stating the store was closed and drive through only due to being short staffed. It had this sign the day prior but I was still able to go in and get my online order ahead order. Today however the doors were locked and who I believe was the manager glared at me and waved her arm in the air in a circle signaling I believe to use drive through. I got in my car and drive through was almost into the street the line was so long. I SAW my order ready sitting on the counter, I did not plan on having to wait in line as I thought I could walk in. I called and stated I wanted a refund that I didn't have time to wait, worker basically said too bad that they had to lock the doors because people were still coming in even with the sign and they were short staffed. I totally get being short staffed, I work in retail and I know how bad it is, but then you should contact corporate and make walk in on the app not an option for the Platteville location, that way people know and can plan accordingly. The worker did end up meeting me by the doors with my order which I really did appreciate but they were not friendly about it at all. Basically I won't be coming back, interested to see how Starbucks does with staffing...
Read moreWe have gone to the Platteville dunkin a few times. Never have I ever been thrilled about the experience. This time takes the cake. My husband and I ordered 2 Signature Carmel Craze lattes and a hot chocolate for our daughter. Go through the drive through, they ask us to pull forward no big deal. A few minutes later, a woman walks out with 1 large iced coffee and hands it to us. I say, "we ordered 2 large hot Signature Lattes and a hot chocolate." She says "sorry." And goes back in. Then out comes a gentlemen who brings us the 2 drinks we ordered and the hot chocolate. Husband and I taste the coffees, super good! I let the hot chocolate cool for my daughter. I get about 2 miles from Platteville and I take the lid off to dump it in my daughters cup. (She's 3.) this is what I find. So, again, it's for a 3 year old. It's not a big deal they shorted us. But I try it first, and it's literally water. I would have been better off just getting her some hot chocolate from the gas station. I try to be really understanding. But this was a bit...
