Guayoyo Cafe — Restaurant in Pleasant Grove

Cute, cozy spot located in historic downtown Pleasant Grove… I really appreciate their attention to detail to everything, it’s impeccable! The inviting interior makes you feel at home right away! They also have a simple patio out which is great if I do decide to bring my dog next time… Usually, places that are heavy on making everything “instagramable”is a BIG red flag for me!ahemLasBotellasahem Service is straightforward and it’s nice that you can just order and pay from the tablet upon entry. It has way more stuff than what is displayed on the blackboard btw… Price is reasonable. And you know a place is legit when most of the patrons are their own people!💁🏻‍♀️ I had to try the flight of drinks, it is so fun, so fancy!… Their empanadas are great! Crust is thin and crispy, plus they are generously filled. My favorite is the mushroom and goat cheese, it is so flavorful! And it so so so nice that you can pair it with a variety of their sauces! On the way home, my husband is already wanting more…😆 We can’t wait to come back again to try more things, please keep...

Wow! This place is dangerously cute, and the drinks? Even more dangerous (in the best way). My husband ordered the El Chocolate, and he’s now claiming it’s one of the best mochas of his entire life. I’d believe him too, because he hasn’t stopped talking about it since. The quality of the ingredients is top notch you can taste the love (and maybe a little magic) in every sip.

I went with the shaken espresso, which was simple, smooth, and exactly what my caffeine loving soul needed. And don’t get me started on the empanadas… one bite and I was basically teleporting back to my time Buenos Aires where I consumed empanadas daily. Cheaper than a plane ticket, too.

Needless to say, this spot has officially landed on my “favorite coffee places” list, and trust me, that list is short and highly competitive. Can’t wait to come back and eat my way through more...

I've been so excited to go to this place bc I pass it all the time and it's always so busy. The place is super cute. The empanadas were good but the coffee had no flavor. The coffee wasn't great, it was mostly milk, and I could taste any of the flavoring. I got a hot mocha and it wasn't sweet AT ALL. I went again recently to give it another try and got an iced latte and there was still barely any coffee and there was hardly any syrup. It just tasted like milk. Was really disappointing. And the service was so slow. There was hardly any customers last time I went and so many workers and it took forever to get just my one latte and it wasnt even good. Idk how this place is always so busy. Its cute but their drinks aren't any good. For the $6 I paid for my drink and the length of time i waited, I would've rather have just gone...
