This review is for the food-centric bride or groom that wants to know if Culinary Crafts (CC) can pull off a multi-course, high-end, restaurant quality menu. As other reviews suggest, CC has no problem producing and serving standard (and above standard) “wedding food.” CC catered our wedding at 4U Ranch in May 2022. As foodies, we had a clear vision: an elevated, yet unpretentious hand-made, locally sourced menu with a Mediterranean flare (as a nod to our upbringings). We wanted the meal to bring our guests together and for everyone to feel as though they were dining at one of our favorite restaurants with a “tasting menu” vibe. We completed two tastings with CC. After the first tasting, we gave extensive feedback. We went through several iterations of recipes for different courses, and in our second tasting it was obvious that CC took our feedback seriously. We were pleased with our second tasting, though still requested minor edits to recipes for our wedding day. On our wedding day, CC, yet again, took our feedback seriously. All the final requests were incorporated, and the quality of the food was exactly what we hoped for. There was nothing that we would change. The service, which is why we chose CC in the first place, was also fantastic. The signature cocktails were on par with any craft-cocktail. (CC’s bartending company was simply phenomenal, they worked closely with me to hand select a bar menu, wines included, that matched our food menu). Our cocktail menu included: a charcuterie station, fried squash blossoms, arancini, scallops, and a savory olive oil gelato macaroon with fried sage. Our dinner was 3-courses and included their fantastic, loaded focaccia. The first course was a plated salad of roasted beets, fennel orange and blood orange citrus disks, burrata, red rock pistachios, with a honey citrus vinaigrette. The second course was a plated handmade black truffle ricotta malfatti. The third course was a family style entrĂ©e, served on large wooden boards (shared amongst 4-people), which included half roasted chickens with lemon preserves, Castelvetrano olives, and chimichurri, lemon, and rosemary stuffed branzino fish with caper butter and a sundried tomato, artichoke, and kalamata olive relish, and grilled asparagus with olive oil, fresh lemon and black garlic panko, and blistered vine cherry tomatoes. The chicken was cooked in Santa maria grills and the branzino was cooked in wood fired pizza ovens. Everything was done onsite for guests to see and smell. For dessert, CC passed out wonderful churro bites and bacon bourbon popcorn, set up a beautiful coffee bar, and served their homemade superb gelato. We lost count of the number of guests that told us that the dining experience was the best that they have ever had at a wedding. The food was fantastic, the service and operations blew us away, and we would 100% recommend CC to any food-obsessed couples. Most importantly, they are willing to take feedback and work with clients throughout the entire process to ensure complete satisfaction.

The Culinary Crafts team provided incredible service from our initial inquiry to event execution. Kate was extremely professional, prompt, and kind to correspond with leading up to the event. She thought of every little detail to ask about to ensure the day-of crew was prepared. She was also extremely patient with us while figuring out where the best place to set everything up on our property was to support the flow of events and work with the heat/sun. I am especially grateful for her assistance in securing rentals through All Out Events so that I had one less thing to worry about when planning our wedding! The day-of crew that flawlessly executed our event was phenomenal! Each member of their team was so kind, accommodating, and professional. Shortly after they arrived and had planned to start setting tables, we were going to be hit with 100% chance of heavy rain (gotta love summer storms). My family asked the crew to delay set up and event start by about 30 minutes in hopes that the rain would pass. They were extremely accommodating to the request and worked quickly and diligently to get things set up and hors d'oeuvres out for the arriving guests at the same time. I could not believe how beautiful they made the buffet set up!! I was honestly expecting the usual large format metal dishes and was blown away by the set up they had, which was perfectly on theme with our day, in addition to slicing the skirt steak for guests as they requested pieces. Every bite of the food was so delicious and we were ecstatic with our choices. I still have friends and family raving about that being the best wedding food they've ever had, let alone one of the best meals they've had in general. Both the skirt steak and trout were so incredibly tender and the accompanying garnishes were insane! Each of the sides were so delicious and everything worked together perfectly. The gelato was the perfect ending to our evening and was sooo tasty. Lastly, the Culinary Crafts team left our home in better condition than we gave it to them, even sweeping our patio at the end of the evening. Hopefully you were convinced before the end of this long winded review, but if not, help yourself ease wedding planning stress and book with Culinary Crafts!

I just can't say enough good things about Culinary Crafts! They catered our wedding at Louland Falls August the 6th and it was flawless! We are vegan and they pulled off the most beautiful and creative food. Our guests (most of which are not vegan!) were so impressed, we had people talking about the food all night! If you have a special diet or just want to have the best food, service, and care taken at your event you should look no where else because Culinary Crafts knows what they are doing. Rachel Collet was an absolute dream to work with too! Helped me when I had a breakdown over some last minute decoration issue and when I had a scare the weather may take a turn for the worse. She is amazing and helped a bride in panic mode realize it was going to be ok! Hands down the best caterer in Utah. I would never go anywhere else and will always highly recommend them. Thank you Culinary for making my wedding perfect!!

There are simply not words to express the fabulous wedding Culinary Crafts catered for us. We don't decorate, dance or throw bouquets. What we do is EAT. So we knew going into this experience that food would be the focal point, and our expectations were high. They absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark. The attention to detail on the part of the staff was perfect. Ryan managed everything with such grace and ease. It was an amazing feat for the food to be the center of attention, yet the staff completely anonymous. They took care of the wedding line, the guests, the kids - everyone was thought about and managed perfectly. These are the details one never thinks about when planning, yet can't live without during execution. I wish all the comments could be recorded and replayed because people raved on and on and on about the magnificent food. They occasionally mentioned the beautiful bride, but only as an afterthought 😉. And we wouldn't have it any other way. We wanted people to leave saying "that was one of the best weddings ever" and we achieved that in spades - almost exclusively due to the amazing, fantastic food and the unbelievably talented staff of Culinary Crafts.

They absolutely are not cheap. If you want cheap, hire one of the many Costo caterers. Culinary Crafts makes the food from scratch and you can tell. We had chicken satay, wasabi cotton candy shrimp, a sushi chef, salads (fruit and green), a bread cart with 6-8 different homemade artisan breads, Italian soda and their fantastic flaming donuts. The flavored waters never ran out - they were always full. The set up, the execution, and the taste were all flawless. You do get what you pay for, and it was worth every single penny.

We will use Culinary Crafts for any and all events in the future, and highly, highly recommend them if you want a fantastic experience. You will love every minute of your time with...
