Domino's has lost its edge, which was never sharp to begin with. We all know Domino's is not great pizza. But it's fast, right? Wrong! Or maybe it's fast but very sadly, incompetent. I arrived last Friday evening to a customer angrily trying to receive his order, which claimed to be "Ready" per the queue board above the counter but for some reason was lost on the clerk behind the counter. Eventually, the clerk figured it out and sent the frustrated customer on his angry way. I asked before I ordered how long a wait it would be since I was limited on time and didn't want to be an impatient customer like the gentleman before me. The counter clerk shouted the question back to the food line and the food line shouted back an answer, "1/2 hour," which fit my one hour time limit nicely. The restaurant has booths and counter seating and it made sense to eat there, so I told the clerk that that was my plan. He didn't ask for my email address or phone number; just my name, which made sense. He would call my name when my order was ready. Right? I sat down and waited patiently. A half hour ... forty minutes ... forty-five minutes ... fifty! Finally, I had no time left to wait. I went back to the counter, as agitated as the customer as when I walked in, and asked why my 1/2 hour pizza still wasn't ready fifty-five minutes later. The counter clerk didn't seem particularly concerned. He casually asked my name and when I told him, he sauntered away, retrieved my pizza from a shelf, and brought it to the counter with a look of great accomplishment. Exasperated, I asked how long my pizza had been sitting on a shelf while I'm sitting in a booth waiting for it. "Fifteen minutes, but don't worry, it's still hot." Not that that mattered, because I had no time left to eat. I asked for paper plates and plasticware to take with me and my still-hot-pizza-with-no-time-to-eat. "Sorry. We're out of paper plates," he informed me with just as little expression of concern for how I was going to eat the pizza as to whether I had time to eat the pizza. How in the heck did Domino's expect my family and me to eat-in in the first place if they were out of plates? I asked if I could speak with the manager, at which point I discovered the 19-year-old-looking clerk behind the counter was the manager. Shaking my head, I told him he would be receiving my complaint. Here it is, Sir ... still hot! Thank you.
P.S. please ask your food preparers to wear gloves when handling food. It's entertaining to watch the employees preparing meals, but also gross to see twelve teenagers handling other peoples' food with their bare hands and probably less concern for customers than that expressed by the clerk/manager at the counter during...
Read moreI ordered 2 sandwiches and a medium pizza for delivery and asked if we could have pepper flakes and paper plates and napkins if they had any (since we are on vacation and staying at a hotel) which the person who took our order said “yes” but did NOT tell us that they charge for each of those which ok is fine you charge but the person taking the order should tell you what those things cost and ask how many we would like NOT just assume on their own how many we would like but that was not the only problem our order gets here and they are missing a sandwich and the delivery boy says that we were only charged for 1 sandwich ok but we waited 1 hour and are going to have to wait longer now to get another sandwich because the person that took our order OBVIOUSLY did not write down what I ordered right so I call and talk to the store manager which his name is “ROSS” and let me tell you he is VERY VERY rude after I tell him we were short a Sandwich (which he says I was not charged and the person (a delivery driver) who took my order forgot to write down but if I want one he can charge me again and have one delivered because I was not charged and then I go on to tell him that their people that take orders should explain how much each charge is and ask how many things (condiments) we would need before just assuming we need this many and his response was “well did you think we we’re not going to charge you because everything we have to pay for here YOU will pay for” UMMM ok but you can be nicer to your customers because you are RUDE at saying it like that. Anyways fast forward I asked to speak to someone higher (which I know I was not going to be able to since it was 3am) so I ask for a name and a number I can call later since this “ROSS” aka manager kept arguing with me and being VERY rude and he goes on to tell me there isn’t and then he can’t give out that information and then hangs up on me UMMM really how rude is that. My family and I like to order from here especially when we are on vacation and staying here with our family but if this is the service we are going to get then we will NOT be ordering here...

Ordered 2 medium pizzas with two toppings each. Requested square cut. Keep in mind this is a less than 12" medium pizza. When the pizzas arrived, they had been double cut, and cut badly and not even all the way through. Essentially it just looked like a chopped mess and these extremely narrow slice couldn't even be pull out, they had to be torn out by hand. It was extremely messy and nearly inedible. I was shocked to say the least.
When I called to have to situation fixed the female on the other end seemingly didn't care. Or rather said "we apologize" with the most idgaf attitude. She placed me on hold a few times to speak to the "Manager Alex". She explained they knew it was supposed to be square cut, but after mistakenly cutting the first one wrong they decided to just double cut it because they assumed I wanted it cut that way to make more slices.. Since when has square cut meant more slices?? She then placed me on hold one more time to speak to "Alex" and when she returned they offered me 50% off my next purchase.. instead of just offering me two pizzas free the next time OR simply remaking my order and sending it right out. I have never been this disappointed in a franchise I thought had gotten better...
